//Partners that suck at crime.\\

Anxiety talked about her plans while Fear listened the best he could- making some points here and there. It was almost surprising of how much they could change the conversation when they actually converse. When Fear rarely stops madly crushing on Anxiety for 2 seconds they're actually good friends who team up to keep Riley safe.

Alas, it was Fear's turn to talk (after getting back to the MAIN point) about the dangers of everything. Joy yells for them to get to the console. How long have they been talking? TWO HOURS!?!? Fear quickly scattered himself and ended up standing.

"We'll be right there!" He yelled back while he fidgeted with his fingers. "We can just.. pretend like we did something right?" Fear hoped she could agree with him.

"Oh! Yeah, yeah!" Anxiety stood up with him, giving him a smile before running back over to Joy, making up random outcomes that they obviously didn't come up with beforehand. Joy seemed to believe it though. Fear was hit by a wave of relief, his eyes returning to their original shape. He muttered a "phew!" and Anxiety turned to Fear to give him a discreet thumbs up, Fear returning it (with his eyes as hearts if that was even possible).

Look, Fear wasn't the BEST at lying obviously.. all of the other emotions have already found out how to tell if he's lying (even Ennui, and that's saying something). He gets sweaty, his voice starts to shake, he tugs at the collar of his shirt, and does that "whaaaaaaat?" thing. It's a very common pattern with him, so he can't lie to save his life. But Anxiety could (surprisingly), at least, better than him. But who was he kidding? She's better at everything- in fact, she's perfect.

"Uhm, hello!? Earth to Fear?" Disgust waved her hand in Fear's face. He eventually was brought back to Earth. "Your breath smells like-" Anxiety accidentally pressed the button Fear keeps pressing aswell. It's just sounds like BLEEEEEEEEEEEEEP. It's so, so annoying. "Here, take a mint. Also, I need a favor."

"Well, what is it?" Fear asked while putting the mint in his mouth. Disgust talked about god knows what, but he was just worried about his breath. Did it smell bad when he was talking to Anxiety? Does she think he's gross? He didn't have time to brush his teeth today. Oh god, does Anxiety think he's gross? What if she does? And then she doesn't talk to him anymore because she thinks he's gross? What if she never talks to him again? Never. And when he tries to talk to her, she'll just ignore him? What if-

"Hey Fear! Did you put a mint in? Ooh, can I have one?" Anxiety walked past him walking to the fridge to get an energy drink, but quickly took a few steps backwards to talk to Fear.

"Uhm, hey! Yeah I did, it's, uh, Disgust's though."

"..It's her mint? In your mouth?"

"WAIT NONONONO! I JUST MEANT- JUST- ASK DISGUST!" Fear skedaddled out, his legs moving faster than his brain or mouth. Anxiety was left there dumbfounded and contemplating what he meant. Fear shut the door behind him, letting out a big breath. He saw a blue blob- oh it's Sadness.

"AH! Whendidyougethere!?" What was Fear scared of? Wish I could tell you. He was tense like he always was, but this time, he was off-guard. He slipped up the ONE time he thought he could be off-guard. He might as well just jump into the memory dump now.

"An hour ago. I was trying to nap." Sadness said with a tired, unamused voice. You couldn't actually see her, but you could see a bright blue light coming out of the blanket. Gotta love being an emotion.

"Apologies, I'll be on my way then.. uh, have a nice nap?" Fear opened the door, revealing a bright light before closing it again. Geez, he could NOT catch a break today.

Nevertheless, he made it to the end of the day. Anxiety was supposed to be putting memories into the beliefs, but she had Joy go with her because of the whole "taking over" thing. Fear was on dream duty, which he had mixed feelings about. Some nights the dream could be nice, but others could be frightening (at a loss for better words).

The room went dark. "Great day everyone! Fear you're on dream duty, correct?" Fear nodded to Joy. "Awesome! Anxiety, are you ready?" Anxiety followed her to the elevator, Fear watching. Anxiety looked back to him, Fear quickly looking at the ceiling, walls, anywhere but her. The door closed, leaving Fear slouched in his chair, watching the "screen". Oh, perfect, ANOTHER nightmare about hockey. He's gotten used to these by now; blah blah blah, missed the goal, blah blah blah, we hate you, blah blah blah, quit.

"Booooringggg! Play something good for once.." he said to himself, rolling his eyes.
