River Hart has spent an entire life walking a path already chosen. With a mother and grandmother both successful lawyers, and a Stanford Law acceptance sitting in an inbox, everyone seems certain about what the future will look like. Everyone except River. When a stranger mysteriously gains access to a private note River has been writing in for years, the first instinct is panic. The note contains everything never been brave enough to say out loud-fears, frustrations, dreams, and the growing certainty that the future everyone wants is not the future River wants. The stranger should leave. Instead, they reply. What begins as a single message soon becomes late-night conversations, shared secrets, and a connection River never expected. Hidden behind a screen, the anonymous stranger quickly becomes the one person who truly understands. But some secrets are easier to confess when no one knows a name. As messages grow more personal and feelings become impossible to ignore, River is forced to confront a question that has been avoided for an entire life: What happens when the person who knows you best is someone never met?

I would have never thought that I would be heartbroken by someone that I had only known for less than a year, let alone someone that I never technically dated, but it happened. Do I have some regrets? yes, but who doesn't? Here are the letters that I wrote to the boy that I truly believe was the love of my life but never had the guts to send.

I wanted to make something like this from a long time now, so I suppose this is a notes app equivalent of my phone. Nothing personal to be found, just random things typed at random times from midnight to 3 'o' clock and in between boring classes under my desk. Njoy!

I randomly write low-key bad ish poems when I can't sleep and I need my notes app cleared (for ranting and what not, you know the drill). Sooo ima write them here so future me can see them :))) Warning lol I'm no way a poet just someone who finds it hard to express my emotions so I end up stress writing poetry (again not sure I can call it that) or rly bad songs in the shower (my roommates hate me for it haha) So enjoy the inside of my brain, I sure do (at times :))
