Adranksh breathe stuck painfully listening to Simran confession. Abhay's wailing face flashed in front his eyes like a film, making it more painful for him to overcome the revelation by his sister. 

"It was my exact emotions when I learned the truth about Aadhvitha. She was cheating on Abhay since they got married and our Abhay had made his whole world revolve around her." Simran expresses further while wiping away her tears. 

Adranksh sat there, unmoved. He couldn't even imagine his brother state if he got to know about the truth. Abhay's would be shattered to beyond repair. His trust over everything will be despair and his reason to breathe again would be snatch again. 

"H..how did you got these bruises?' he enquired Simran, finally noticing the marks over her face and neck. It looks like she was abused and those were the marks she got while attempting to save herself from the abuse. 

"It's nothing. I am fine." she replied, dryly an attempt to dismiss the question. 

Knowing where well that the moment investigation starts his senior aka Kaashi Agarwal will first question his sister. So, being a brother and a member of the investigation team, it's important for him to know the truth. 

"Just speak up the truth, di. You can lie in front of me but not in front of my investigation team." He persuaded her to say the truth. 

He noticed the way she took a deep drag of heavy breathing before staring at him with those forever lost eyes. 

"When I got to know the truth, Reyansh wanted to divorce me blaming me for cheating on him. Even his lawyer believed that I was cheating on him and being his good friend, he prepares the papers in just one day. Hearing his accusation, I got aggressive and slapped him twice, so he did this in return. " She finished saying this while tracing the lines on the coffee table in between them. 

Adranksh noticed how much lost she was in her own thoughts. The way her fingers trace the lines and legs shake was speaking about her lost mind. 

"Di, now can you tell me how did you murder Reyansh? With knife or choking?" he asked with concerned because she has used knife then surely her team will find it and she will be arrested as she might have left her fingerprints there. 

Lifting her lashes Simran slowly shook her head in denial. Reyansh raised his brows indicating her to say the truth of how she murders her husband because it was an important thing to know. 

"I used tetrodotoxin poison to kill him which killed him in twenty-five minutes after I gave him secretly."

It was another shock for Adranksh because tetrodotoxin in very hazardous poison which would create a confusion in his team if they took Reyansh body for postmortem because detecting tetrodotoxin in postmortem in not an easy task. 

It required a whole different method to detect.

"Now, di you should leave for your home. I will reach there with my team in an hour." he explained while holding her hands in his," and don't panic I won't let anything happen to you even if take me to go against the law. I will do everything to save you from this mess." his assuring words didn't make her feel normal.

The only feeling which were settle beneath her veins, like consuming her whole was the feeling of numbness and dead. 

"I trust you Adranksh but if I need, I will surrender myself because I deserve for murdering someone even though he was wrong." She replied back, standing up from her chair.

They both shared a hug before parting away from each other. Dropping her till her car Adranksh left in his towards the office where the whole investigation was going to take place. His mid was so mulled up that he forgets that he was going to meet the girl whom he loved for six years even though she was his senior from three years.
