With a nervous smile on his face, Adranksh walked back, cupping his neck in embarrassment. Kaashi's eyes were glaring at him, which surely made him scared. Walking behind, he left from there, calming his fastened breaths.

He noticed everyone who was inspecting the mansion with great seriousness and their whole focus was on their work. Not wanting to disturb them between their work, he slowly walked out from there.

His eyes noticed the interior of the mansion as he walked further. Reaching one of the rooms, he entered inside, closing the door. The noise of his shoes clicking on the floor reverberates in the killing silence of the room. He can hear his light breathing in this silence.

Walking near the table, he saw packets of chips and a few bottles of whiskey lying carelessly. Simran's favorite chocolate box was also beside the packets, which were open. He roamed around the room with caution as it whole room was messy as if someone had assaulted it. The curtains were also torn apart, and pillows shattered over the floor.

Abruptly, he recollects the dots of Simran having bruises and her informing him about the squabble between her and Reyansh. The ominous appearance of the room was the result of Simran and Reyansh's fight.

While scanning the room, his gaze fell upon the few papers lying under the torn curtain, which were hidden from his eyes earlier.

Bending down, he picked the papers up, dusting away from dust that was resting over them he tried to read it. His eyes enlarged with the passing seconds as he read them.

They were the DIVORCE PAPER of Simran and Reyansh. If Kaashi found this paper out then surely her doubt which she has ok Simran will rise more making it difficult for him to hide the truth.

"Kaashi shouldn't know that there was any kind of dispute between the couples. She needs to believe that they loved each other and Simran is silent because of the grief of her loss." Mumbling to himself, he hid the papers beneath his jacket.

Here Kaashi was inquiring Simran who was answering all the questions nonchalantly, trying to show how much the loss of Reyansh has affected her mentally.

Noticing her silent behavior Kaashi was trying hard to keep her questions light and not much heavier for her to handle.

"Did you tell your family in India about your husband's death?" She asked with a calmness in her tone.

Simran who had been staring at her the whole time lowered her lashes down at the mention of her family. She has been missing them so much but she can't even call them, knowing that her father will sense her problem in her voice only.

"I don't want them to get stressed about it. And I can't risk leaking this news to me that's why I have decided not to inform them." She answered, an unlined expression over her pale face.

Kaashi registers her words and expression, trying to search for any kind of lie but finds nothing. With a sigh she stood up, going to one of the directions to inspect the mansion herself also.

Simran sighed in relief when she saw her going away from her sight. Noticing no one around here she took the pasta plate again and started eating it. She was starving for the whole day yesterday but she needs to eat something to feed the baby growing inside her womb.

Unknowingly Kaashi strode in the direction of the bedroom. Believing her instinct she was about to push open the door when it was opened by Adranksh standing on the other side of the door. Seeing him in front of her she doubted him but then composing herself she stood straight.

"Did you find anything in the room?" she questioned, noticing how his head shook with his lips quivering in nervousness.

She knew that he would lie.
