As I embarked on a new chapter of my education journey, the winds of change swept me into unfamiliar territory. At the tender age of third grade, my cozy world at the old school faded away as I found myself stepping into the gates of Pragathi Vidya Nilayam, a private corporate school. The transition was far from seamless. Coming from a Telugu medium background, the sudden shift to an English medium environment felt like navigating uncharted waters. Once familiar concepts now seemed shrouded in mystery as teachers delivered lessons in a language I struggled to comprehend. Additionally, the school's practice of dividing students into sections based on test scores left me feeling labeled and discouraged. Placed in the C section, deemed the 'Weaker' group, my confidence took a hit as I struggled to keep up with my peers.
As a backbencher, I felt invisible, my dreams overshadowed by the fear of failure. However, amidst the challenges, I found a glimmer of hope. I realized that this wasn't the end of the road, but rather a new beginning—a chance to rise above adversity and rewrite my story.With each setback came an opportunity for growth. I refused to let my circumstances define me, choosing instead to view them as stepping stones towards personal development. It was a journey of resilience and self-discovery, one that would ultimately shape the trajectory of my life in ways I couldn't have foreseen.
