I think I've felt lonely for a very long time. In my hometown where I had to pretend I was content a small life and in L.A where I have to pretend I live a fun and thrilling life. And I mean, I do... sometimes.
But there's these lulls in between all the filming and promoting where all I do is stay home and watch TV or play video games. And even when I do work, I come home to an empty house. No one in it but me, the silence crushes me sometimes.
When I was young and no one in my family would spend time with me I had to find ways to entertain myself. I think that's why I did, and still do, love YouTube. Watching others lives made me feel less alone in mine.
That's why when the Try Guys invited me onto their channel to film a Trolley Problems video I knew I had to say yes. I couldn't even believe a channel full of people I looked up to for so long wanted me!
Then... I was told who I would be doing the video with. Ted Nivison. I watched his Barbie video when it came out (A/N: pretend his video actually came out right after the movie did) then promptly spent the next few weeks of my life watching all his videos.
He quickly became a sort of celebrity crush for me. Although saying that now sounds pathetic because I'm probably more famous than he is. Still, just the idea of speaking to him makes me red in the face.
I've never met him before but I know I can't say no to this opportunity. Being a part of a YouTube community was always a big dream of mine, I have to go.
