Two weeks pass, I have found a little lifestyle again, in the morning I pick the pockets of passers-by in a place where I am sure not to come across anyone I know and in the middle of the afternoon I find my new friends so that we spend time together, all I need is a home for my life to be perfect, I get very close to Mei to the great displeasure of her mother even though she now tolerates my presence. From time to time I participate with Mei in the entertainment of the temple and that's when I realize that she was right, the tiger and the panda make a striking duo... it's the first time that I use it for a good thing and I must admit that it's even more pleasant, I'm even starting to think about stopping flying and trying to find a little job that would allow me to resume my studies later, especially that I'm starting to be known here so it's going to become harder and harder to be discreet in my actions. One Saturday evening I came back from the cinema with Mei, (yes for once we managed to manage to be just the two of us, poor Abby who wanted to see this film so much...) I walked her home, on on the way we joke, we laugh, and I see someone in the darkness coming in our direction and approaching us quickly, we are on our guard and we even start to bicker to know who will be better able to protect the other when the person arrives in the light. It's Chad. I had almost forgotten about it, the residence and everything else completely slipped my mind, he calls me by my name and tells me that he is happy to see me again, Mei wonders about the fact that I know him and briefly explains to him that he was "an old high school friend and I ask him what he does there". This statement makes him laugh that I see things like that but so be it... he explains to me that he followed me after I left Windsor, moreover he also confesses to me that it was he who had caused the burning down the residence so that we can all escape... I would like him to keep quiet about our past... especially in front of Mei who I see is asking lots of questions. In short, he followed me but he lost track of me when I got off the train. He says that he needs my help to recover something that belongs to him but that without my donations he was not going to do it alone, I try to subtly explain to him that I could never thank him enough for the help he brought me at the time but that I am trying to change my lifestyle and that I no longer resort to these practices. He asks me again to help him one last time, that afterwards we will be even and that I will never hear from him again, so reluctantly, I accept. I tell Mei to come home and I'll meet her tomorrow to explain, then I run off to follow Chad... This is really the last time I get into such a mess... it's becoming too complicated to find explanations and justifications, it's going to be time to stop lying, before it's too late. He takes me to the back of a building where there are things that were taken from him and that he was unable to get inside to get them back... another one of his gang stories probably... and all I had to do was cut a hole in the wall and secure his back inside. To break a wall like that I will have to use the tiger and its strength. I change shape and punch the brick wall hard to make a hole that we then pass through to enter. It's dark in the building, we can't see much, we have to light ourselves with the flashlight he brought and when we arrive in a large hall I have the impression that it's a art museum... more precisely the Royal Ontario Museum, I am starting to get annoyed and I stop angrily to tell him that he lied to me and that I will not help him play the burglars for him, he turns around and explains to me that it was a contrived truth. The story is that he had a big disagreement with his family who happened to be very rich, by cutting ties he was deprived of his rights and his property, his collection of old objects was entrusted to the museum where he comes to "just collect what belongs to him". I'm a little confused by what I'm hearing and the story doesn't end there, the residence that we squatted, it also belonged to his family, to his grandfather to be precise and it was he who was to inherit it initially but in the end with the disinheritance it was his cousins who got it, so to put a spoke in their wheels and keep what should come to him he did everything he could to delay the inheritance and he set up a squat during this time just to make the place unsanitary... the rest I know, and besides we found ourselves not by chance in this city, he hadn't randomly mentioned the pandapocalyspe to me either because he knew that I would come here if I left the residence... that's when I realized that he had planned everything from the start and that everything led to this precise moment, he welcomed me to use me, something that I pointed out to him by telling him to fend for himself. Unfortunately he makes me understand that I owe a debt to him, without his presence I would have remained alone in the street and that I came out better than if I had gone to the youth center as I wanted. do initially. So I reluctantly resolve to pay this debt, telling him that this is the last time and that I never want to see him again afterwards. So here I am, looting a museum, I have to use my claws to cut the glass from the displays that protect the objects... yeah exactly like in the movies, recover lots of different things from cups, mirrors, silverware... and lots of fairly old things that he puts in his bag... as you progress through the museum you have to pay attention to the various security systems, I often go from one appearance to another because the tiger is not obviously all-purpose in certain places... and we end up in front of an old and superbly decorated cupboard, that's where he explains to me that we're going to have to get it out by breaking another section of the wall and we're going to have to do very quickly because it overlooks the main street and we risk being spotted very quickly.
