aurora was in her room watching tv. she had invited harlyn and sophie over to her house so she could have something to do for the day. she had started talking to them more in school and she thoughts they were becoming pretty good friends.

aurora typically leaned more on harlyn but she was still friends with sophie. aurora was glad that she was starting to make friends. she enjoyed being around the both of them and thought they were good friends. but jalil on the other hand disagreed.

he thought harlyn was a good friend. she was a sweet person and jalil thought she was a good friend to aurora. but sophie was a whole different thing. he knew sophie wasn't a good person. the two used to date in the past but they broke up because she cheated on him. he didn't know she was going to be coming to his new school though.

jalil hadn't thought about their relationship since he saw sophie in person. even then he still didn't care about her, it was in the past. well at least for him. but he always got irritated when sophie would act so rude to aurora and the oblivious girl would think she was joking. he didn't want to say anything to hurt her feelings so he just went with the flow.

aurora was on her bed before she heard her doorbell go off. she got up from her bed and left her room. she walked down to her door and opened it revealing the two girls. she stepped to the side and let them in. they had looked around before aurora walked them to her living room.

they had talked about how they wanted to binge watch all american together since they all loved the show. they sat next to each other on the couch watching the show play out. "soo rory how are you and jalil?" harlyn asked curiously hoping for a different answer than last time.

aurora had smiled at the thought of jalil. they had became very close friends over the course of two weeks, they were basically attached at the hip. wherever aurora was you could bet jalil was two steps behind her. if they weren't together they were probably on the phone. the only reason they weren't hanging out right now was because he had practice and training today.

"i keep telling you were just friends" she reminded making harlyn let out a jokingly loud sigh. "rory i've seen the way he looks at you and he dosent look at just anyone like that. trust me i would know" she told her. the last part was her referring to the fact that anytime she said two people would end up together she was right.

"you think jalil likes her?" sophie questioned looking between the two girls. harlyn noticed the sound of her voice which made it seem like what she was saying was funny. harlyn noticed how back handed and sometimes just flat out rude she would be to aurora, and she wasn't with that. harlyn would always say something to sophie for aurora because, she thought it was wrong for sophie to be rude to someone who she knew wouldn't say anything to her. right now harlyn wanted to know what was funny to her. "why did you say it like that"

"because why would jalil like somebody like her. don't get me wrong auroras pretty but there's nothing special about her" sophie shot back talking like aurora wasn't right in front of her. "what and you think he would like somebody like you?" harlyn had scoffed at the end of her sentence looking back at the tv. before anyone could say anything else her brother had walked downstairs.

when he did sophie got up like her brother had some sort of magnetic pull on him. she had stood next to him staring at him weirding the boy out. "um hello?" he spoke questionably confused about what was going on. "hi what are you doing here?" she asked rubbing her hand on his chest. aurora had cringed at the sight in front of her.

"i live here" he answered removing the girls hand. "anyways rory im going to sleepover at my girlfriends house text me if you need anything" her brother told her before leaving the house. sophie had rolled her eyes at the fact that he had a girlfriend. but she didn't care that much, it obviously never stopped her before.
