"Mrs. Fontaine. . . this is the third time your son has violated our rules. You can not expect us to tolerate this forever, now do you?" The Principal huff a great air, there's an authority in his voice. He hissed as he secures his stitches, he tried to look tough though he's pissing his pant.

"I know my son, he would never do such violation without a reason, Mr. Smith. . .You know that." The mother match the Principal tone, she was rather pissed, one can tell from her voice alone. "But like always, a moderate sum of money is enough to silence you, isn't it?"

"I will not be slandered, not in my school!" The Principal stood from his chair, rage made his entire face red.

But the mother, the mother remain calm.

"Your son may be a genius Mrs. Fontaine, but his temper has and will continue to endangered those around him. So no, no more!" Mr. Smith shakes his head. "Your son is expelled, Mrs. Fontaine."

The mentioned boy heard this but his face remain stoic. His two fist were all wrapped up in bandages, blood still oozing from the fresh wounds above his knuckles. There he sat down upon the plastic chair, tolerating the gazes from students that passes by the hallway where he was waiting.

"That's him, Daan wasn't it?" One student whisper to her friend.

"Yeah, the one with short temper." The other gossip. "I think he's done it, I think he's expelled for sure this time."

"Twice he wronged Mr. Clearwater and now Mr. Smith himself?" The gossip continues.

"He beat up the Principle, what does he expect?" A boy scoffed, mocking with his punch able face. "It's about damn time I say, he finally got what he deserve."

"You're only saying that because he beat you up Jack." The friend sneers, holding back his laughter.

"Shut up, Scott." Jack walk faster, not without spitting at the expelled genius.

But thankfully, he reacted faster than Jack could spit. The bully missed and was mocked by his own friends as they made their way towards their next class. The bell was ringing when the mother stood besides him.

Daan didn't dare to look at his mother, but after he felt how soft her hand on his shoulder, Daan couldn't help but to look up to her.

"Come now, should we get your favorite donut on our way home?" The mother smiles at him, and Daan nearly cried at her kindness.

Daan hold back his cries as he could merely nods, he stood to follow the woman. Both made their way towards her car. Buying Daan's favorite donuts on their way home.

The ride back to home was incredibly heavy in terms of mood, but the mother wasn't tense nor mad at her son. All she did was trying to comforted her son, to which was incredibly needed. After a silence that felt like forever, Daan finally said something.
