The Banquets of Tempest

Soon after the Battle, it was as if they entered another world, at least for Luminus and the Holy Knights, except Hinata. It was a Tempest district built completely in an old Japanese-like style. 

Normally, Luminous wouldn't care about such stuff, but she was amazed by its beauty while remaining calm and revealing nothing within her poker face. The Holy Knights then were speechless as Rigurd welcomed them. 

"Welcome, people of Ruberius, to the Monster Nation's Capital City, Rimuru. We, the subordinates of His Majesty, Demon Lord Rimuru." Behind Rigurd, the line of a dozen maids clothed in the same kimono bowed respectfully. 

Although Rimuru could see their nervousness, he was proud of them. For now, it seemed as if they would master their job perfectly, which was good news for him. 

Rigurd then continued "We will prepare your food while you are at our new Bathhouse, so please tell me if there's anything you can't eat" 

Hinata shrugged her shoulder and answered reassuringly: "I don't think there is something." Her answer was short and sharp, almost as if she ordered them to proceed, yet it was said perfectly respectfully. 

"Then I'll guide you to our-"

"Ah, actually, Rigurd," Rimuru suddenly butted in. "I'll guide them personally, so you and the other, please take care of the hundreds of Knights that Shion's subordinates bring over. Give them a healing potion as to nullify the sleeping drug." 

Bowing, each of them answered, "Understood, Rimuru-sama!" Once more, showcasing how much respect they held for Rimuru, a sight that surprised not only Hinata. 

The Maids handed over the clothes they had prepared and then left, waiting for the other group of Knights to arrive. Hinata's hands softly fondled the cloth in her hand, and instantly, she recognized the high-quality silk. "This is a Yukata??" She wasn't surprised to see a Yukata, but more so one this luxurious. 

"Well, yes, we can't get you back into those sweated clothes and armor you're wearing, right?" Rimuru said, smiling while entering the bathhouse. 

"This... has anyone ever told you that you severely lack tact?" Hinata's eyes became cold or more so full of disgust while looking at Rimuru. 

"Eh-" Rimuru was shocked, for him he didn't say anything wrong. 

"The way you are it seems like you were never popular among the girls, no?" Hinata continued, as she noticed Rimuru's eyes on her more than a few times ever since talking to him. 

"Guwaaa!" That was a direct hit into Rimuru's embarrassing past. While smiling, embarrassed, he returned, "You—You'll take back what you said before long." He then started walking, ignoring Hinata's further words. 

"Follow me. I'll guide you to the women's bath," he said, ignoring Hinata further. 

'They are not getting along already huh?' Luminous thought, but then her focus wandered to the more important information. 'A woman's bath, huh? Not private ones but separated by men and women sections ?' the vampire seemed interested. 

Sophie giggled slightly. No one even heard or saw her as she followed them from behind. It was worth watching them, a true comedy in front of her and that for free! For the first time, the demoness had found fun in something else ever since staying at Ruberius. 

Hinata grabbed Rimuru's shoulder. "Why are you the one leading us to the bath?" she asked. Unable to ignore her any further, Rimuru answered innocently, "I have stuff to explain to you guys after all" 

"Weren't you a man before?" Hinata didn't let him go 

"Eh- well yes but now I have a female body and am genderless no?" Rimuru answered.
