Melissa parked her car in the school's parking lot. Today, Chrissy drove with her to school. "I just don't understand why you were with him the whole night yesterday if you don't want anything to do with him. I mean, I saw the way he was acting with you and the way you two danced." Chrissy said as the two girls got out of the car.
"He's a douchebag who doesn't like to fuck the same girl twice. I just wanted him to know what leading on feels like. Trust me, I wouldn't have gone with him to the bedroom." Melissa assured her friend. "It was actually kind of funny the way he tried to flatter me the whole night."
The two girls laughed as they went to their lockers. Melissa and Chrissy were very lucky because their lockers were only three other lockers apart. Chrissy took out her English books from her locker as she turned her head to Melissa. "What happened to Steve yesterday? I saw him running out of the house."
"Something happened between him and Nancy. It's really bad, but I hope that they can work it out." Melissa said with a sad expression on her face as she picked up some books from her locker.
Suddenly, the door to her locker was slammed shut. Melissa jumped and turned to see an angry expression on Billy's face. But he quickly hid it with a fake smile. "Hey, Melissa. Where did you run off yesterday?" Billy tried asking sweetly, but you could hear the bitterness on his tongue.
Melissa looked at Chrissy on her left. The younger girl was watching the interaction with wide eyes as she clutched her books tightly against her chest. Melissa turned back to Billy. "Um, I went home with Steve. He needed me."
Billy's eyes turned darker, and he muttered. "Steve..."
"Hey, what's going on?" Melissa was saved by a blonde boy approaching. Jason slung his arm around Chrissy's shoulders, and the two took a few steps towards Melissa. Even if Jason was younger and shorter than Billy, he still started at the boy with a challenging look to do something to Melissa in his eyes.
"Sorry, Billy. I have to go. I promised Chrissy and Jason that I would explain trigonometry to them." Melissa lied as she locked her locker and grabbed Chrissy's arm to get out of here faster, leaving Billy alone. She turned to Jason. "Thanks."
"What's his problem?" Jason and Melissa weren't close friends. They just knew each other because of Chrissy. But Melissa was grateful that the boy approached them when he did, because the look in Billy's eyes made the girl realize that she didn't know what he could do to her.
"He's just an asshole. Thinks he can get any girl he wants and then gets his ego hurt when he doesn't." Melissa tried to act like she wasn't bothered at all by her interaction with Billy.
Jason just furrowed his eyebrows. "What a prick."

Melissa sat on a bench during P.E. The teacher let the girls rest a bit while the guys were playing basketball. Steve's team was the one with the shirts on, and Billy's was the shirtless team. It was a great opportunity for some girls to gawk at the new kid.
Melissa watched as Steve wasn't having a good time playing the game. His mind was wandering about what Nancy had said the last night, along with an image of Billy's hand wandering up Melissa's skirt. Billy looked at the Reyes girl and noticed that her eyes were following Steve around.
"Harrington, right?" Billy asked as he got close to Steve. "I heard you used to run this school. That true? King Steve, they used to call you, huh? Then you turned bitch and started hiding behind Melissa's skirt."
Steve got annoyed at the boy's words and turned his head towards Billy. Billy was already looking at him with a smug smile, making the Harrington boy want to punch his face. "Hey, maybe you should just shut up and just play the game."
