I got up at 4:00 this morning Knowing I could sleep in the car. My stomach had butterflies, maybe I should just stay behind. I have never broke any rules before....But i could miss out on a once in a lifetime chance. I'm going and I can't back down!
I put on a floral summer dress on because I wanted to look cute. I did my make up and put red lipstick on. I put on sandals and took my suitcase downstairs and skipped breakfast because Kelsey will probably want to stop for breakfast on the road. I never told my parents where or what I was doing. So i decied to leave my parents a note without mentioning it to Callie and Kelsey.
Dear mom and dad, I have taken a 2 week trip with my friends. Please don't worry, I'll be back soon. Love, Mallorie.
Now I feel a little better about leaving. I walk over to callie's with my stuff and I see Kelsey's black mustang and put my stuff in it. I go inside and find Callie on the couch waiting for me. "Where's Kelsey?" I say. "she's in the kitchen getting water and then we'll leave." I see kelsey pop out of the kitchen and smirk. "Let's go!" We get in the car and begin to drive off. California here we come!
