Do you remember the moment you fall in love? For me, it was a slow realization, a series of small moments that culminated into one undeniable truth: I loved Ivy. Two years have passed since that unforgettable night at the NHL Awards, and my love for her has only grown stronger, deeper, and more profound.
Today, we’re back in Las Vegas, but this time it’s not for an award show. We’re here to celebrate our anniversary, a milestone that feels both monumental and yet just a beautiful continuation of our journey. The city is as vibrant as ever, the lights and sounds creating a symphony of life that mirrors our own dynamic rhythm.
We stroll hand in hand along the Strip, reminiscing about our first time here together. The memory of that night, where we confessed our love and promised to face the future together, is a constant reminder of how far we've come. I look at Ivy, her eyes sparkling with happiness, and I feel a surge of gratitude and love.
"Do you remember our first night here?" I ask, my voice filled with nostalgia.
She smiles, leaning into me. "How could I forget?"
She chuckles softly. "I was so nervous that night. I didn't know if I'd be able to tell you how I felt."
"You did just fine," I tell her, squeezing her hand. "And look where we are now."
As we make our way to a quiet, secluded spot overlooking the city, we pause to take in the view. The skyline is a dazzling array of lights, each one a beacon of the countless possibilities ahead of us. The night air is warm, the city humming with energy and life.
"Two years," I muse, wrapping an arm around her shoulders. "It feels like just yesterday we were here for the awards."
"And so much has happened since then," Ivy adds, thinking back on all we've been through. "You've had an amazing season, and I've started my own business. We've grown so much, both together and individually."
I smile, turning to face her. "Ivy, these past two years have been the best of my life. You've given me more than I ever dreamed possible."
"And you," she says, her voice soft, "have shown me what true love and partnership mean. Every day with you is a gift."
I reach into my pocket and pull out a small, velvet box. Her eyes widen in surprise, and I open it to reveal a delicate, beautiful ring, unlike any I’ve seen before.
"This ring," I begin, "is a symbol of our journey, our love, and the fire that brought us together. Will you continue this journey with me, Ivy? Will you marry me?"
Tears of joy fill her eyes as she nods, unable to find the words. "Yes, Terence. A thousand times yes."
I slip the ring onto her finger, and we kiss, sealing our promise to each other once again. The city below us seems to sparkle even brighter, as if celebrating our union. We stand there for a moment, holding each other, letting the joy of the moment wash over us.

AUTHOR'S NOTE
623,796 Words later, the Mature Jocks Series is over(for now) I cannot begin to share how grateful I am for every one of you! And I mean it wholeheartedly. Following up with this series even when I had the worst writer's block ever and spent a whole year writing one of the books. Thank you for never giving up on me, and for following up with everyone from when they were rookies, found love and became DILFs. I'd admit there were days when I wanted to take these books down in fear that my writing wasn't good enough, but today I am grateful I didn't do that. There were days I almost gave up, thinking I wouldn't be able to finish it, but today I have!
I have finished my fifth book!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
My next book is called Code Hidalgo and it's a dark romance between a fugitive (Andreas Hidalgo) and a CIA agent! So some Mafia and some forbidden and lots of undiluted smut! Hope you still support me as you always have!
See you there loves!!
Also there will be two exclusive chapters coming up, A proposal and a visit to Terence's Mom's grave. Any other thing you want to see, feel free to comment here!
With lots of love, Mira Brendan.
