!!!![TRIGGER WARNINGS]!!!!
gore

death

severe toxicity [When I say toxic, I mean it. There are certain relationships where they really probably shouldn't have anything to do with each other. If you're looking for a happy healthy relationship, this one pushes what's okay and not okay. There are of course some lines I would never cross, I won't ever justify or romanticize SA or cheating in my stories, but certain relationships are functionally toxic.

mental illness

suicidal ideation

cannibalism [Just straight up, don't take this warning lightly. There is a bit of a debate whether it is technically cannibalism or not, but still it's close enough that you should listen to this warning if it bothers you. I wouldn't say it's too gorey or graphic, but it is talked about a lot since we'll be talking about sirens, and if you know anything about sirens...well... Anyway, I would say it wouldn't be too bad if you like vampire content, since it can be similar in some aspects, but it can be a lot. I know this genuinely disturbs some people, so I wanted to seriously warn people about this. Just because it's not disturbing for me to write (cannibalism actually disgusts me in most circumstances, just so you know), doesn't mean it won't be disturbing to read.

torture

body horror [We're dealing with a lot of aspects in this book that are pretty serious and I would refer to it as body horror, and it's not just the cannibalism. Most of the books in this series can be a lot, and even though last book was a bit of a break from things that are too horrific, the next two books jump right back into it.

offensive religious concepts [I am sorry if anything in this story might offend somebody, some of these characters follow certain plots that have common themes with religion. Just please remember it's fiction.

A/N: The main narrator will be Hongjoong instead of Seonghwa like the previous books have been Hwa. Thank you. <3

Edit A/N: It's been rough, ngl. I had major writers block after a bunch of bullshit came crashing down in my life. I'm trying to continue this story though, because I still really love it and I'm not done with it yet. I should be able to get the first chapter out soon. I'll try to post on Monday's unless I get more written. I love you guys, and thank you for loving this series despite my absence. ♡

Everything as they know it is falling apart, trying to hold on to what they once knew seems to be impossible as everyone has a part to play in the change. What once held them together, is up in flames. But from those same flames will be the product of their greatness.

The crew drifts apart as different responsibilities are expected of them and new circumstances ask too much from them, and their positions in this new world are too great to compromise. As they step into their new lives and roles in the New World, they risk losing who they used to be. What matters more? Keeping their responsibilities and role intact? Or the family bonds that they carry with them as a constant?
