ALADDIN'S POV
Aladdin dismounted his horse outside the gateway leading into Agrabah. The guards pushed the doors open and bowed. Aladdin and his group walked in. Aladdin wanted to surprise his wife, so he didn't go directly to the palace. He told Amara and Vandal to wait by Zulla's shop, and he, Razoul, Fazan, and Anders took a stroll in the village.

Aladdin stopped by a flower shop. "Do you have any jasmine flowers?"

"Ah! My king! Are the flowers for Sultana Jasmine?" The shop owner, Basava, exclaimed. Aladdin grinned.

"You bet."

"Coming right up! Bouquet or single flower?"

"Bouquet."

"You truly do love her, sir!" Basava gushed. Aladdin smiled. He took the bouquet from Basava and paid him a few gold coins, then he walked away with Razoul, Fazan, and Anders. Razoul was clutching a single rose.

"I'm gonna confess my love for Amara!" Razoul informed him. Aladdin pulled him over to Amara. Razoul cleared his throat. "Amara, I love you so much, and you're so pretty I can't stop staring at you."

Amara looked like she was gonna cry. "Aw, Razoul! I love you, too!" She started full-on sobbing, and she buried her face into Aladdin's shoulder. Aladdin wrapped his arms around her.

"Woah, Amara, what's wrong?"

"It's just so sweet. And that look in Raz's eyes... it's beautiful."

Aladdin snickered and let go of Amara when he saw the revolted look on Razoul's face. "Did I say something wrong?" Razoul started freaking out.

"Relax, Razoul. She just got emotional."

Razoul smiled warmly. "Well, then. Let's head to the palace. I'm sure Anders is excited to see the sultana."

Aladdin didn't want to go to the palace. He was sure Jasmine would start freaking out if she saw his wounds. But he didn't want to stay away from his beautiful wife any longer than necessary.

Aladdin told the others to wait at Fazan's house. He approached the palace doors. The guards saluted and opened the doors. Aladdin slowly made his way inside. He found Hamed in the throne room, studying a map. He glanced up and grinned widely.

"Aladdin! You're back! How did it go?"

"It went fine."

Hamed's happiness switched to concern. "What happened to your face?"

"Turns out I was right. Anders is holding a grudge against me for marrying Jasmine."

Hamed sighed. "Anyway, Jasmine isn't here. She's at the market. You can go surprise her."

"Alright."

Aladdin exited and strode to the market. He searched all over for the beautiful sultana, but he couldn't find her. He even asked Jamal.

"Jamal, you know where Jasmine is?"

Jamal had scowled at him. "I'm sure my dear sultana wouldn't want anything to do with you."

Clearly, Jamal had forgotten that Aladdin was "his dear sultana" 's husband.

Aladdin decided to check his tower. He was about to pull the lever, but he realized  the steps were already jutted out. He climbed them quietly, but he paused when he saw his Jasmine on the balcony. He quietly climbed the stairs to the balcony and stood behind her.

Jasmine sighed and stroked Abu. Aladdin suddenly remembered that he hadn't brought Abu with him. At least Jasmine was taking care of him. Jasmine dug a banana out of her bag and fed it to Abu, who munched on it happily.

She finally turned around, and when her eyes landed on Aladdin, her eyes widened. She threw herself into his arms, a beautiful smile on her lips. Aladdin wrapped his arms around her and kissed her forehead. Jasmine snuggled into his shoulder.

"When did you get back?" She asked.

Aladdin stroked her silky hair and buried his face into it. "An hour ago," he answered, his voice muffled. Jasmine pulled her head back, studying his face. Her enchanting smile was replaced by a frown, and her happiness was replaced with concern.

"What happened to your face?"

JASMINE'S POV
Jasmine pulled back and studied Aladdin's face. Her smile vanished almost immediately. There was a huge bandage on the side of his handsome face, and he had a bandage wrapped around his head. Blood had bled through both of them, but only a little. "What happened to your face?" Jasmine asked, concerned.

She reached up to touch his cheek, but he winced. She started to draw her hand back, but Aladdin grabbed her wrist before she could. He pulled her hand back to his face, his hand still gripping her wrist. "Keep it there. I like it."

Jasmine smiled and stroked his cheek gently, careful not to hurt him. Aladdin leaned into her hand, and Jasmine out her other arm around his neck. She pulled his face towards hers and pushed her lips to his.

Aladdin wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer. Jasmine pulled away for a second, studying his eyes. Then their lips met again. They kissed for a minute or so, then they both pulled back, leaning their foreheads against each other.

"I missed you," Jasmine whispered softly. Aladdin smiled and kissed her cheek.

"I love you," he said, looking straight into her eyes.

"I love you, too."
