ALADDIN'S POV
Aladdin woke up the next morning in his bed. He stood up and stretched. He grabbed his journal and grabbed his ink. He started scribbling paragraphs of writing down on the parchment.Jasmine told me that Genie and Dalia are arriving today. She wants to go pick them up at the harbor later today. But I'm worried, mostly about Jafar returning to Agrabah. This guy called Vandal found Jafar's lamp and set him free as his third wish. He's from a distant kingdom called Netaj, not too far away from Skanland. Apparently, Genie's magical throw wasn't accurate enough. Genie is going to freak when I tell him this.
I brought Anders with me to Agrabah. Jasmine's father wants to form an alliance with Skanland. Jasmine, of course, listen to him, since he's her father and her most trusted advisor. I've never actually met Anders, but I did on my excursion to Skanland. He beat me up, since he's still clearly jealous of me and Jasmine being together.
I've finally renunited with one of my close friends, Amara. She's dating Razoul, and Razoul told me he's planning on proposing to her. I'm sort of excited, since Razoul is like a brother to me. Amara moved to Skanland two years ago, after my wedding. Jasmine's father entrusted her to watch over Skanland and report back to him about Prince Anders and the living conditions, so he could decide whether it was a good idea to form an alliance or not.
I'm so excited to see Genie again after three years. Jasmine and I had invited them to settle down in Agrabah, and they agreed a few weeks later. Now, they're on their way, and they want me to give their kids, Omar and Lian, a tour of the kingdom. I know every corner of the place, since I used to be a street thief, and I ran all over the place to escape from the guards. These days, it's mostly Abu that causes the trouble.
Aladdin set his pen down and changed into his Prince Ali clothes. He had decided that it was his favorite royal outfit, but his true preference was his street clothes. He didn't wear them as often anymore as he once did.
He strode to Jasmine's room, which was a few hallways away. He recognized the hallways where he snuck past the guards to make it to Jasmine's room, and Genie had helped him one time by distracting Dalia long enough for him to sneak into Jasmine's room. Memories were easy to uncover these days.
He knocked on the door. The doors flew open, revealing his beautiful wife. She gave him the sweetest smile, still looking a bit tired from the evening before. Anders had wanted to talk to her, and she has spent an entire hour trying to get him to go away, to the point where she almost lost her lovely voice.
"Good morning, princess," Aladdin greeted, giving her a quick kiss. Jasmine ruffled his hair.
"Morning, Ali. Just a reminder, Genie and Dalia are arriving at noon. Precisely."
"How could I forget?"
She just gave him a pretty smile and shooed him out of the room. "I need to change. Leave."
Aladdin raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure? You look quite lovely in that," he complimented, gesturing to her night gown. Jasmine just rolled her eyes and gently shoved him out of her room.
"Leave," she ordered. Aladdin reluctantly turned and headed for his room. He had some work to do.
He made it safely back to his room. He grabbed ink and parchement and began writing.
Jafar has been set free by a man named Vandal from Netaj. I wanted to warn you in case he arrives soon. I don't know when, but he has Netaj under control. Jafar might figure out that you two are coming, so please don't attract to much attention. Besides, I requested an alliance with Netaj. They'll respond shortly. Jasmine and I will pick you up from the harbor around noon.
