Her green dress was floor-length with a short train and poofy off-the-shoulder straps. A gold belt was cinched just under her chest, creating an empire waist, and her white silk gloves ended a few inches above her elbows. Her gold jewelry consisted of a large necklace, earrings and a headpiece.

Synopsis

Viviana was the victim in Curtain Kill. She was a famous opera singer hired by Mr. Alastor to perform at his final party. Viviana was honoured to be chosen for such an exclusive event and planned the biggest, most spectacular show possible. However, she never intended to be killed just after the curtain rose!

Suspects in her murder included Santiano Adriatico, a mysterious man whom she made a deal with years ago to earn her fame. How Santiono did it, Viviana will never know, but all she cared about was making money and having people treat her like a princess. Of course, deals are not free, and Viviana was indebted to Santiano. But Vivian didn't want to lose any of her money and refused to pay him, causing Santiano to vow to break the contract and destroy her career.

Santiano's lover, Răzvan, was also a suspect in her murder. Viviana met him a few years after starting her career, and she commissioned some accessories from him for her shows, including a pair of glass high heels. However, even though Răzvan had done good work for her in the past, Viviana wanted to be in control of her orders. So she stole his necklace and refused to return it until he gave her what she wanted.

Before her death, to Viviana's shock, she met the son of a fellow singer she had worked with about 20 years prior. Argo truly was Moana's child, and Viviana immediately saw the resemblance, even though it had been twenty years since she sang with Moana. Of course, she was happy to talk to Argo about her performance with his mother, but instead of talking about Moana as Argo had hoped, Viviana rambled about her fame and fortune. She almost immediately forgot about Moana, as Viviana's favourite topic will always be herself.

Of course, there was one suspect whom Viviana did enjoy the company of her chauffeur, Percival Gordon. Viviana may have had a husband waiting for her back in Italy, but she had gotten so lonely while travelling! All she was looking for was someone to give her a good time and to help her relax after a long night of performing... But Percival refused her attempted advances. Viviana was angry about his rejection, but she knew plenty of other good-looking men out there would love to keep her bed warm.

In the end, it was Viviana who was killed by the last person she expected to have the courage to commit murder: Helena Simmer. Though really, she shouldn't have been that surprised that the woman whose life she ruined decided to get revenge. Helena was furious when she discovered Viviana would perform at The Odeon and vowed vengeance against the woman who almost destroyed her career. So, Helena marked the spot where Viviana would stand to give her welcome speech and hoisted a grand piano high above it. And when the time was right, she cut the ropes holding it, crushing Viviana and instantly killing her.
