"there's not much to say really," scott shrugged. "it was 4 years ago, lasted 10 months and i barely remember what it was like with the girl." he shrugged.
"why did you break up?"
"she cheated," renee gasped in shock as he drew his lips into a thin line.
"i'm so sorry scott." renee placed a hand on his thigh.
scott smiled taking he hand and interlocking their fingers. "it's no big deal,....i think the embarrassment was worse that actually losing her."
"stop you get it!" renee exclaimed, "i felt like i never wanted to show my face again."
"oh snap," scott gave her a high five. "how long were you two together?"
"1 year and a bit...but we fizzled out around the 1 year mark. he saw the 20 degree, decided it was hot boy summer and yeah...slept with my so called best friend." renee sighed.
the two sat in silence, looking everywhere but each other but the second they made eye contact, laughter burst from both of them.
"shhhh!" renee giggled, "we shouldn't wake anyone!"
"stop making me laugh then!" scott pulled her towards him. renee laid on his chest, resting her chin on his sternum to look up at him. scott winked, renee rolled her eyes turned around and lying her head in the groove of his armpit. "so do you think you're ready for another relationship then?"
"i think so," renee hummed. "in the last year or so i've been on hinge and bumble but all of those guys put me off within the first 2 seconds." she made a face as though she had just smelt something bad. "i've been super focused on FLO for the last couple years and seeing my jorja happy and being treated like a princess in her relationship makes me want the same you know? what about you?" she looked up at him the best she could.
