Kill The Leauge

We've read through all of the files and have found ways to kill the last few members. Green Lantern's ring is powered by imagination, but he has to see what he is doing. We have to make him think he is blind so the ring will make him blind. Wonder Woman needs to be put in a sort of Augmented reality device. We need to make her think she is fighting an equal, making her die of exhaustion. And Superman... kyrptonite bullet... obviously.

We've split up into groups of three. Cass, Nightwing, Angelo and I will take care of Superman. Alessondro, Red Robin, Spoiler, and Lex get Wonder Woman. And Constintine, Green Arrow and Zatanna get Green Lantern. We leave for Metropolis.

We get in a car and drive all the way there.

Angelo: Seeing how this mission could be our last. If we were going to be buried, how would you want it?

Y/n: Facing the ocean.

Cass: Same here.

Dick: I like watching the sunset. So, I'd like to be buried facing west.

Angelo: Not bad.

Y/n: What about you, Angelo?

Angelo: Me? Bro, I came back from being paralyzed. I will never die.

We arrive in Metropolis. We go inside a tall skyscraper. We go to the roof and look around.

Angelo: Is it a good idea to be up here?

Y/n: We got to find him someway. So we just gotta wait for him to hear us.

Angelo: Ah gotcha.

Angelo then lets out a loud scream. We all look at him confused and annoyed.

Angelo: What? I was helping.

Y/n: Angelo, got your gun and bullets.

He pulls his gun out and cocks it.

Angelo: Yep.

I bring mine out and pull the slide back to check the chamber. There is one in it. I let go of the slide.

Y/n: Alright, just try not to die until me and Angelo can get shots on him.

The other two nod and we wait for him. Suddenly I hear a loud woosh and I drop to the floor. Superman flies right over me and then stops when he sees he missed.

Angelo shoots at him and Superman, thinking it was a normal bullet just tries to bat it away. It goes through his shoulder and he drops to the roof. He still has some fight in him because we all start fighting him. Angelo runs up and goes for a kick that lands, but Superman pushes his leg away quickly. Cass runs over and tries to punch him but he grabs her arm and throws her. She rolls off the side of the building and I dive for her. I get to the ledge and grab her hand.

Y/n: You ok?

She nods and I pull her up. Superman has grabbed Nightwing by the neck and lifts him up. Angelo goes to shoot him but he punches the gun out of his hand. He then turns to Nightwing and snaps his neck.

Y/n: Dick!

I quickly grab my gun and shoot Superman three times in the chest. I put the gun down and run over to Nightwing.

Y/n: Dick?

He lays there motionless. Angelo and Cass run up and look down at him.

We hear a cough and a laugh.

Superman: Braniac has already won.

I grab my other gun and hand it to Cass.

Y/n: Dick was your brother. You deserve this.

She looks at the gun and aims it at Superman's head and pulls the trigger. We grab Dick's body and put him in the car and drive back to base. We honor his wish and bury him facing west so he can watch the sunset. The Green Lantern team arrives.

Y/n: Well, how did it go?

Constantine: Easy fuckin peasy.

We wait a little longer for the Wonder Woman team and they arrive a little later. Spoiler and Red Robin run up to us.

Tim: Is he dead?

Y/n: Yeah, amd Wonder Woman?

Tim: Died a few hours ago.

Spoiler: Where's Dick?

Y/n: That's what I need to talk to you about.

Tim: Where is he?

Y/n: Dick was fighting Superman and Superman snapped Dick's neck. I'm sorry.

They look down and walk away. A little later, I'm on top of the base and watching the sunset with a bottle of whiskey and two shot glasses. I pour some into both glasses and raise one up.

Y/n: Requiescat in pace, brother.

I drink it and pour the other one out for him.

???: Hey.

I turn and see Cass.

Cass: I wanted to thank you for saving me. I know we're not exactly on best terms...

Y/n: Hey, it doesn't matter what terms we're on. We're in this together.

Cass: Well, there's another thing. I want to know if you want to give us another chance.

I look into her eyes and see she is being sincere and I think back to all the times we had together and how happy we were.

Y/n: I want nothing more than that.

She smiles and hugs me. I hug back and we stay like that for a bit.

Y/n: When things are over, we'll go get Alex from Dr. Frye and tell him the news.

She nods and we stay up there for a while. Later, we go to bed together.
