Prologue - Chapter 11: Window Scrubbing

***Cafeteria***

3rd POV:

"I'm already exhausted from a full day of cleanin'. I can't believe we still gotta wash a hundred windows!" Grim complains. "Try and learn from this experience." Yuu says in annoyance. "What's buggin' me is, Ace ain't even here yet! To make us wait, after what he did... Grrr!" Grim grumbles. The room goes silent for a moment. ".............. And now he's super late! I bet he up and bailed on us!" Grim exclaims.

Yuu sighs, "We should look for him." Grim starts heading towards the classrooms, "Ain't no way am I doin' his punishment for him! C'mon, Yuu, I don't care if we gotta drag him kickin' and screamin', he's washin' those windows!"

***Classroom***

C.C. POV:

I was was letting out my wings in the classroom so they didn't cramp and I suddenly hear two people come in. "Hey! Ace! Get over here! Try to hide from me, will ya!

Huh... Maybe there's really no one here?" Grim yelled. 'So the ginger dumped them, lovely' Then I jump when the painting on the wall replies to Grim. "Oh, I wouldn't say that, I'm here." she said. "Bwaaah! That painting just talked!" Grim screamed

"Yes, and...? Is a talking painting really such an oddity at this school? The lady in the portrait on that wall talks too. As does the gentleman in the portrait on this one. As long as a painting has a mouth, why wouldn't it be able to talk? Is that really so strange?" the lady asks. 'That actually makes a lot of sense, I wonder of the nightmares are successful in finding a voice box or someone who can make one, it kinda tired of being mute or hurting'

"Are you with those ghosts from yesterday?" Yuu asks. "Unlike those restless spirits, always wandering hither and thither, I've been contentedly hanging on this wall for over fifty years. Now, you seem to be searching for someone." the lady says. I jump down and fold my wings to my back before walking over to Bubba, "B-bubba." Yuu looks down and smiles before picking me up.

"We're lookin' for this guy called Ace. He's got messy hair and a heart drawn on his face." Grim described. 'Drawn? I thought it was a tattoo or a birthmark' "Ah, I know the one. A new student, I believe? Today was his first day at school. I think he went back to his dorm a while ago." the painting replied. "Myaaah! So it's true! He's tryin' to ditch us! Do you know which way he went?" Grim asked. "The door to the dorms is in the eastern building." the woman directed. "Let's chase after him, Yuu!" Grim said.

***Interesting Facts***

-C.C. sent the nightmares out so he could find a voice box or someone to make it

-C.C. knew the painting talked

-C.C. and the nightmares are going to kidnap someone

-C.C. Someone has been stalking C.C.

-Fredbear is thinking about jumpscaring either Ace or Crowley

-The nightmares all agreed to jumpscare Grim, the ghosts wanted in as well

A/n: Thanks for the suggestions, C.C. will be staying in Diasomnia, he'll just mainly be seen with Yuu and the troublemakers. And I've gotten multiple requests to make Cassidy a boy, so I'll probably make that change soon.
