I made some cereal,brushed my teeth & walked out to the corner store.
I was about to call Ajani when I saw her with Ulysses Rodriguez.
I walked past them & he looked at me.
"Keep walking Collins"he said
I looked at Ajani who looked at me with a look of disgust.
I went inside the store & bought Skittles with a prime & a bag of Cheetos.
I went outside & they weren't there,a car drove by & started shooting.
I hid behind a trash can & shot back hitting someone in the passenger seat.
I ran back home & locked the door,I looked at my stomach & I was grazed by a bullet.
"The fuck you running for!?"Xander Xavier's twin brother asked
"I almost died"I said breathing heavily
"What the fuck happened to you"Elijah asked
"Drive by shooting"I said tryna catch my breath

I went out the door & called Ajani
"Hello"she said
"Meet me at the old treehouse we gotta talk"I said
"Good I wanna speak to you too"
I ended the call & went back to my room I took off my t-shirt & cleaned my graze then put a bandaid over it.
I put on a grey hoodie & covered my face then went to the treehouse. I got there & waited a few minutes before she arrived.
"Almost thought...."
I was cut off by a sizzling SLAP!!
I looked back at her & she had tears in her eyes.
