She did promise her brother that she would be up early so he could pick her up, but she just couldn't fall back asleep.
The girl had previously fallen asleep after texting her brother, then she suddenly woke up at this unfathomable hour. Her [e/c] eyes glance over to her phone again, debating whether or not she should go on it to kill some time.
'What else am I gonna do.. Lay here and stare at the ceiling longer? I feel like a mental patient.'
[Name] turns to her side and picks up her phone that was lying right beside her. Flinching at the sudden light, she immediately lowers the brightness on the device down.
She sighs and goes through her contacts, reading back on her messages with her brother. Her fingers slowly scroll to the start of their previous conversation, as she re-reads every word.
'Is he really gonna be here at eight?' [Name] thinks to herself, glancing at the time on her phone. She groans and runs a hand down her face, knowing she won't be able to sleep for a few hours.
After a few moments of silence, [Name] decides to go through old messages between her and a certain soccer boy.
