FROM a young age, I knew exactly what I wanted to be; a wedding planner. I absolutely loved seeing people in love and the surreal feeling of being surrounded by love, it was truly something brilliant to witness.

When I was seven my aunt on my father's side invited me to be her flower girl and I remember being ecstatic because she had picked me of all people to do it.

As I sprinkled the flowers down the aisle of the church, I realized how fun it was playing a part in creating people's special day and from that day forward it was as if God had cemented my will in life.

"Candice, please tell the groomsmen that they're to be in front of the altar in 5 minutes."I whisper to my assistant who stood by side me.

With just a curt nod she is headed off to the back rooms of the church. I stand in the back feeling the environment out, looking for any missteps that I could've missed and not one decoration was imperfect.

Watching the crowd carefully as the time rolled closer to the big moment, I was surprised to see the guests were sitting patiently causing no commotion unlike the day before at rehearsals. But, what's a good wedding without some drama.
