My alarm clock starts ringing, and I try and switch it off without lifting my head from the pillow or opening my eyes so I can sleep for a few more minutes.
When it doesn't work, I groan and get up and open my eyes, then click the off button and sigh.
I stretch and smile at my guitar and get out of bed.
"Jade. Today's a special day. It's my first day at Georgetown University. Isn't that amazing? I mean, it's great. It's also unbelievable. I'm going to college. That's crazy." I say and start spinning around.
I stop at my closet and then get out some clothes to wear for today and look at my schedule, and see that I have a full day of classes.
Well, I have only five classes today, but they're so spread out that the time I'll be done is five p.m.
I'll have to pack lunch. Or I can buy lunch at the café there.
Ugh, but I don't have money.
Oh, my God. I have to get a job.
Wow. Adult life is really hitting.
I have to get a job, I'll soon have to get my own place and then I'll have to start paying bills.
Bills.
That's going to be rough.
But for now, I'm living on Daddy's money, and till then, I should probably get a job of my own.
I take out a pair of oversized jeans, white socks, my Air Forces again, a white cropped tank top, a white bandana, and a white New York cap.
After laying my clothes on my bed that I haven't made up yet, I run to the shower and take a shower.
After the shower, I put on body moisturiser, get dressed, do my skincare, do my hair, do my bed, pack all my books and devices in my bag and then open up my curtains.
I look outside at the beautiful view and smile and then run to my guitar and take it and go back to the window and sit there in the light.
"Jade, I don't think I've been this excited to go to school before. I'm one step closer to becoming that psychologist I've been dreaming of. It'll be great." I say with a smile.
My fingers strum on the guitar strings, and I chuckle to myself.
"I know you wouldn't have gone to college for sure. You would've been on a world tour by now, performing everywhere. People lining up outside venues just to see you perform, every record label fighting over you so they can have you on their label, everyone wanting to do an interview. You would've been great." I say.
The smile that was on my face, then falls down and becomes a sad frown.
I stop strumming on the guitar strings and sigh at myself.
"And it's my fault you couldn't experience that. I'm so sorry, Jade." I say and then put the guitar down.
"I'm so, so, so sorry." I say and then out the guitar down.
I get up and then sigh and look at the bandana on the bed.
I walk to my bed and then tie it around my leg over my jeans and look at myself in the mirror.
Once again, I look like the sexy goddess I am.
I take my phone out and take five mirror selfies and then post three of them on Instagram before I get out of my room and get ready to face the family.
I go to the dining room and see breakfast being served, and the boys at the table.
Christian is staring at the food, waiting for breakfast to start. Treyton is slowly falling asleep, but every time his eyes close, either Memphis or Christian kicks his leg, so he stays up. Memphis is on his phone, smiling at it once again.
