Chapter 8: Hangover Of A Lifetime

I sit down on the bench and wait for Jade to finally arrive so I can finally get home from this hellhole called school.

I sigh and then look at the time and see that it's almost five thirty.

I groan and then turn my head to see Noor with her three other friends talking about something.

I sit here, staring at her. Watching her every move. Listening to her every word.

She looks over at me and stops talking, and the smile on her face falls.

It's known now that Noor and I are enemies, but I don't waste my energy entertaining her and her little act.

"Who is she looking at?" One of the girls asks.

"I don't know. She's always staring at me. I think she's obsessed with me." Noor says, and they laugh, and I roll my eyes.

"Bitches." I mumble and then see a car finally pull into the gate and I sigh in relief when I see Jade's face.

I take my bags and then run towards the car because as awful ad the schooldays might have ended, I still have a story to tell her.

When the car is parked, I get there, put my things in the back and then sit down in the passenger.

"Oh, my God. Jade, you won't believe what happened to... day..." I say and trail off when I see that Jade isn't in the seat.

"Jade?" I say.

"Jade?" I say again and look out the window but no one is there.

I look in the backseat and see that my books and bags are all over the place.

"Jade?" I say.

Then I see something on my books.

I unbuckle my seat belt and crawl to the backseat and open take my bag and take out a book.

I scream and throw the book on the ground when I see that it's covered in blood.

I look in the bag and see that everything on my bag is full of blood.

I scream and throw it on the other side of the move away from it until my head hits the window and then I hear a crack sound.

I look at the window and see that it's cracked.

"What?" I ask myself.

How did this break? This car is brand new. Unless Jade broke it somehow.

Then I hear another crack sound and I see that the other window is also the cracked. As well as the ones in front and then the windscreen.

The radio explodes, and smoke and flames start forming from the burning wires, and I hear the outside tires start going flat.

"What's happening?!" I shout, and then the fire starts to spread.

I open the door and jump out of the car, and run away from the car.

I keep running and running, and then I finally turn around to see that I'm not even at the school parking lot anymore.

I'm on the highway, but there's no cars at all.

I look back at the car and see that it's flipped to the side with a truck and three cars in a pile.

Like a car crash.

I walk closer to the car crash and start shaking my head at what's going on.

Jade. Where's Jade?

"Jade?! Jade?! Jade, where are you?!" I shout and look around for her.

Just before I get around the entire scene, I see her.
