In the cold winter, both of them walked towards their favourite cafe, hands keeping each other warm. As they entered, the smell of freshly brewed coffee hit their nostrils making them feel cozy as ever.
The cafe was dimly lit with fairy lights hung across, wooden chairs and table by the window, every thing about the little cafe was aesthetic. It was less populated than the other cafes too.
It was the best place to go in a winter morning.
The boy then went to order as the girl sat down in one of the chairs in the corner table. The boy then came and sat down opposite to her, smiles lingering on their faces.
They watch the snow slowly make its way and touch the ground. It was very therapeutic to watch.
As they waited, their hands once again found each other. The waiter brought their orders and smiled warmly, remembering how they were once teenagers back then and now there was a ring shining beautifully in both of their hands.
They sat in silence, enjoying eachother's presence. It was a perfect day for them.
