Y/N decided to go in and call the same number again, to test things out since she had nothing to do.

"Hey, where are you?"

She asked the number, it wasn't more of a question it was like a threat with the tone she was using. The person behind the phone didn't seem to be her mom, it was odd because she memorized her mom's number and the voice sounds just like her yet she came up with the conclusion that it wasn't her mom.

"I'm behind you, you're in the telephone booth Y/N"

The girl turned around, she didn't believe her at all. But, once she did she saw a lady holding two bags of groceries.

"What the flipping flip."

The woman looked exactly like her mom but their style was different. Her mom looked like an iconic girl boss while the one in front of her looked like she came from 1980.

Her "mom" approached her and gave her the bags of groceries while signaling Y/N to follow her.

"Let's go home, my arms hurt so you can carry those for now."

Her legs moved on its own, she was so flabbergasted and shocked that she couldn't think properly but once she regained her composure, she asked her mom,

"Mom why are you wearing clothes that looks like they were from the seventies?"

"What are you talking about? We're wearing similar clothes"

"What do you mea-"

She cut herself off when she saw what she was wearing because she was NOT wearing this..

"What date is it today for me to wear something like this???

"June 6, 1988. Did you forget already? You're so young and your memory is worse than mine.. you should-"

She was not listening to her yapping as she was too busy listening to her own thoughts. Her face looked like she was in distress or something.

"Am I never going to see my phone again?!"

"Am I never gonna be able to scroll through tiktok or Instagram?!"

"Am I never gonna be able to play games anymore?!"

Her thoughts were cut off by her mother, her eyebrows were furrowed and looked like she was mad, irritated annoyed or something.

"Y/N I know that you're now feeling well but you shouldn't have gone out if your brain is just gonna drift off somewhere"

The walk was really awkward, the phone addict only wanted to get her phone back but she somehow got stuck in the past, she was hoping it wouldn't be THAT bad.

Her arms hurt from carrying the groceries, she wanted to complain so bad but she was lowkey scared of the woman. She decided that she'll refer to her as mom, which she already did.

Once they arrived, she sat on the couch, closing her eyes. She didn't even do that much..

"You're taking up all the space"

She heard a voice speak and when opened her eyes, they were met with bright amber gold eyes.

"It's you..!"
