As she stepped out of the house, she was immediately struck by the sight of a bustling street that looked straight out of the 1980's
But as she looked closer, she noticed something strange. Among the people walking by in bell-bottom jeans and colorful shirts, she spotted a familiar face.
"Y/N there you are!"
Hu Tao explained that her business has not been going well lately and that she needed help promoting it. Despite the eerie nature of the job, she assured her that it was fulfilling work that allowed her to help families say goodbye to their loved ones.
Together, they dove headfirst into the world of funeral planning, assisting families in honoring their deceased relatives and friends. It was a challenging and emotional task, but Hu Tao's guidance and expertise made it easier to navigate.
And as they stood together at the end of a long day, surrounded by grateful families who had found closure through their efforts, she knew that this unexpected journey had brought them closer together, much closer than in the future.Despite the challenges and uncertainties that lay ahead, she was grateful to have Hu Tao by her side, somehow guiding her through this strange new world of the past.

"Oh, it's you."Y/N said while waving her hand at the male. She met Xiao while putting up posters for Hu Tao's business. She thinks of him as her friend now because now that she has almost nothing to distract her from boredom, she needed friends.
He didn't reply but yes he took a glance.
"Why are you here?"
"You..forgot?"
"What?"
"What is bro talking about???"
"It's our weekly Friday hangout.."
"Weekly Friday hangout..? that thing..exists....??!"
"You're the one who suggested it.."
Xiao asked, while crossing his arms, his eyebrows slightly furrowed. While he was asking, Y/N was just standing there, awkwardly.

She eventually agreed to go with him, they barely did anything but sit in silence. They were sitting at the top of a hill, where there were nobody else. She knew about this hill, this is where lovers would go on picnic dates.
"Why are you looking at me like that.."
Y/N heard the man beside her ask. He wasn't looking at her directly but at the setting sun in front of them. The question confused her. I mean was it not obvious enough??
