Chapter One- The First Meet

Arjun walked frustrated.

He didn't know why Karn hated him. He was getting hated for a reason unknown to him and that irritated him to the core.

As he was walking irritated, he stopped hearing the sound of anklets that sounded so divine.

He frowned seeing Dushala blabbering to someone and he decided to see who made his sister so happy.

When he reached there, his heart raced fast. "Dushala", he said. Both the girls turned around.

His heart froze seeing the girl beside Dushala who looked so beautiful. He could bet he would not find anyone so beautiful like this.

"Who is she?" He asked in a daze. She didn't look in a better state herself. She was staring at him with the same intensity.

"Bhrata shree", Dushala exclaimed. "She's Subhadra. She is my friend from Kanyakul. Haven't you met her? She is your Madhav's sister", Dushala said to him.

"Rajkumari Subhadra. The sister of Madhav", Arjun said in realisation. The sister Madhav always talked about. The darling of Dwaraka.

"Pranipat", she said in a sweet voice. He felt his heart melting seeing her.

"Pranipat", he said back. He smiled big at her and she blushed. Dushala smirked seeing it.

"Bhrata Arjun, won't you show her how well you dance?" Dushala asked in fake innocence but she was smirking internally.

"What?" Arjun mumbled. "sure...sure", he said seeing a smile on Subhadra's face which he didn't want to ever let down.

"Do you dance too?" He asked. Subhadra nodded chuckling.

Oh yes. She's the sister of Madhav. She would obviously know dance. Obviously.

"Then...?" Arjun said in a flirting tone and forwarded his hand. Subhadra got betroot red. Dushala squealed.

Arjun smirked as Subhadra gave her hand in his. Both walked towards the center and started the dance.

They didn't even notice when everyone else gathered and watched the whole dance.

"Arya, they look amazing don't they?" Vrushali and Supriya squealed to Karna who was looking at the dance, enjoying himself.

"Damn. I just hope he doesn't take dance as his profession. Well he can. It's good", Duryodhan said. Even he was praising it.

Both looked so amazing. Krishna sat on his swing in Dwaraka and smiled.

"I am seeing something matashree. I know it's just the first meet but-" Devika said.

"I understand too", Kunti smiled. "They should definitely marry", Kunti giggled.

Her daughters in law nodded smiling.

Arjun and Subhadra ended their dance with Subhadra falling in the arms of Arjun.

"So the Yadava Kumari knows the dance too. Not bad", Arjun teased.

"You don't look bad either", Subhadra chuckled.

Both parted away unwillingly.

They stood flustered seeing everyone looking at them with amusement.

"Thank you. Thank you", Arjun said like he is a professional performer and Subhadra kept standing shy.

All laughed seeing it.

While away from all this happiness, in Panchal, still hurt and angry by the defeat in hands of Arjun, was Drupad asking for a son from Yagya.

Drishtdyumna had already taken birth. But much to everyone's shock, a very beautiful girl took birth too.

"Who is she?" Drupad asked with widened eyes.

"She's your daughter Drupad", the Rishivar said smiling. "she's the blessing of God. Accept her whole heartedly", the Rishivar said.

"Draupadi", Drupad smiled. Draupadi grinned hearing her name. "but what is the purpose of her life Rishivar?" Drupad asked.

"She is born to marry a person who has qualities like truthfulness, power, skill, handsomeness and is wise", the Rishivar said.

Drupad got confused. "but gurudev. It's impossible for any man to have these qualities, only God can have them", Drupad said.

"Leave it on God then", The Rishivar said smiling.

Drupad nodded confused.
