The royal wheelhouse and retinue sets out down the Street of the Sisters, the road connecting the eponymous hills of Rhaenys and Visenya, the sister-queens of Aegon the Conqueror.
It was spring in King's Landing, the birds and gulls cawed in the blue skies, horses neighing, the fields were green. All is in bloom. The city was flourished, bright and blessed, everywhere was peaceful.
In the far distance stands the great Red Keep where Aegon the Conqueror had it built on his own hill over a century ago.
Daenerys kept glaring at Alicent as she conversed with her uncle and her twin sister, the way the aurburn haired laughed, chuckles and smiled at Rheanyra and Aenar made her skin crawl, whenever the two cut glances, the tension between them was loathe and demeaning.
The carriage eventually arrives at the Red Keep's main gate. The heavy iron gates yawn open to welcome the princess home. Aenar was the first to step out of the carriage, helping his nieces down the threshold, then his secret lover, the aurburn haired stared alluringly at the Prince as they held hands.
Exiting the outer courtyard, the two friends proceeded into the Palace hallways. Linked closely, arm in arm chatting.
The two best friends walk through a courtyard into the Red Keep and through various halls, followed by Aenar and Daenerys, whilst Rheanyra and Alicent were chatting, Daenerys kept eyeing the two.
"You don't like her do you?" Aenar teased.
Daenerys scoffs. "Just as I hate eating pork, I hate her."
Aenar smirks. "Alicent is not a bad person."
"Are you saying that, because you like her? You seem quite taken by her persona" Daenerys interjects with vile.
Aenar shrugs. "I do, she's decent."
Daenerys rolls her eyes. "Decent my foot, she's a pretender uncle, don't be fooled by her looks. Hightowers are two tongued folks, all of them are snakes."
"What makes you think so, every House in the realm are the same, ambitious, Alicent just seem likable and comely, just because she's close to your sister doesn't mean you should feel jealous." Aenar scolds.
Daenerys shot her uncle a glare. "I'm not jealous of her uncle."
"Then you're competing with her."
"I'm not!" Daenerys snapped.
"You are." Aenar retorts with a grimace. "Shading Alicent won't make your relationship with your twin any better, it'll only make Rheanyra see you as an insecure twin. Loosen up Dani, you're a princess." He taps her shoulders before, taking another route that led to the council chamber.
Rheanyra, Alicent and Daenerys make their way into the Red Keep's entrance hall, already Maegor's Holdfast was slightly crowded with westerosies: this is the political center of the realm with men and women of great importance.
The palace is alive with activity as, lords, laides, knights and noblemen flanked the corners of the Red Keep hallways, moving about the castle talking over court.
Some servants bowed in obeisance as the Rheanyra gracefully walked passed them with Alicent in her arm, and other lords curtly greets Daenerys in a respectful manner.
Stewards, squires, cup bearers, maids and manservants paraded back and forth on errands like a whirlwind.
Courtiers in rich and colourful clothing, This is a grander, happier, more decadent times in the era of King Viserys Targaryen, a time of prosperity and splendor.
The princess's and the aurburn both rounded a corner and they finally got to the main hall, its wide stairway climbing up and up into the upper reaches of the castle, whilst burning candles in chandeliers were hunged six inches apart, blazing in echelons.
