Ophelia, Ophelia, Ophelia, I'd give my eyes to you if you'd stay longer.
I'd be without my sight, but yours I've memorized every night.
Orange and yellow swirls cover your back
Stripes of orange, yellow, and red pattern your legs
Black hair resides where color is absent
Eight eyes black and unyielding
Ophelia, I'll always remember you.
The webs you spin cover every corner, sealing the doors and windows shut.
Strands hang from the ceiling catching on my skin and hair as I walk
I can feel the roughness of the strands when my finger ghost over the walls.
I can always tell which strands are new and old
No where is without you, Ophelia, even when I leave I can feel your web on my skin and hair.
I sleep on a bed of your web
I am caught in it, unable to fully leave
Each strand sticks to my clothes and I struggle to escape, but I still stay.
There is no blanket but the thought of you keeps me warm.
I'm trapped in your web, Ophelia, and I will never leave.
In my sleep, you're in my dreams.
You crawl over me, making the hair on my skin stand up straight
My skins prickles with needles as you move from the ground to my neck
Your fangs sink in and I wake
When I turn my head I can see your eyes and still feel you crawling over me, Ophelia
I'm sorry, I'm sorry, Ophelia.
I should have never have opened that door.
I should have never broken your web.
I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I should have never left at all.
Ophelia, please forgive me.
My dreams are empty.
I lie dead on the floor your venom having killed me.
Though you are never there, please come back to me.
When my finger comb the walls, there are no new strands.
You've left, Ophelia, please come back through the door
Death awaits me in my bed of webs.
I haven't left like I said, like I promised, please come back.
The webs have began to fall from the ceiling lining my floor more than before
Then in the night she comes and beckons me to sleep, I am on the floor as she crawls over me. My dear spider, Ophelia.
Author's note: The formatting is a bit weird, but I can't fix that because it automatically puts it in double space.
