It was a cozy afternoon when Namjoon decided to visit his favorite bookstore, a hidden gem he frequented whenever he found a moment to escape his hectic schedule. This, lesser-known bookstore was a haven for him, offering a peaceful retreat with its cute cafe and soft, cozy seating arrangements. The ambiance was both aesthetic and calming, a perfect getaway from distractions and the chaos of daily life. Naturally, it had become Namjoon's go-to place.

Today, just like always, he made his way there, eager to indulge in his love for reading. As he wandered through the shelves, searching for a book to immerse himself in, he didn't notice someone standing in front of him. Without warning, he bumped into them. Before either of them could fall, Namjoon instinctively caught the person by their waist, steadying them both. The person he held was a young woman, her hair cascading like a curtain over her face. Unconsciously, Namjoon reached out, tucking her hair behind her ears to reveal her face. The moment their eyes locked, it felt as if time had stopped and the world around them fading into the background. They were both lost in each other's gaze, an unspoken connection forming between them.

Unfortunately, their moment was cut short by someone clearing their throat nearby. They quickly regained their composure. Namjoon helped her stand properly, apologizing, "I'm so sorry, I wasn't paying attention."

She smiled softly, her cheeks tinged with a slight blush, shaking her head she replied, "No, it's okay. I wasn't paying attention either."

An awkward silence settled between them, and to escape it, she thanked him and moved towards another shelf. Namjoon's heart was racing from the brief but intense interaction, but he tried to focus on finding a book. Unknown to him, the girl felt the same flutter in her chest but chose to ignore it, immersing herself in her task.

After a while, Namjoon found a book that piqued his interest and headed to his usual spot in the far corner of the shop, near a small window that offered a beautiful view of nature. Sunlight streamed through the window, adding to the serene atmosphere. However, today he saw that his usual place was occupied by the same girl he had bumped into earlier. Gathering his courage, he approached her.

"Excuse me, is it okay if I sit here?" he asked, pointing to the only available seat opposite her.

She looked up, surprised to see him again, but smiled and nodded. "Sure."

They both sat in silence for a few minutes, each lost in their thoughts, trying to muster the courage to start a conversation. Finally, she cleared her throat and spoke. "Thank you again for not letting me fall earlier. And, um, I just wanted to say that I'm a big fan of your work. I really admire you."

Namjoon's heart swelled with happiness and face lit up with a genuine smile. "Thank you so much. Hearing that means a lot to me. It's fans like you who keep me going." he replied warmly.

She smiled, sensing the genuineness in his words. The atmosphere grew slightly awkward again, but Namjoon was determined to break the ice. "May I ask your name?" he said, his voice gentle.

"It's Y/N," she replied, her voice soft.

"Y/N," he repeated, savoring the sound. "That's a beautiful name, just like the person it belongs to."

She blushed, lowering her gaze. "Thank you," she murmured.

With that, they began talking, slowly getting comfortable with each other. They discussed their interests, favorite books, and everything in between. It felt as though they were in their own little world, their connection growing stronger with every passing moment. Genuine smiles adorned their faces as they lost track of time.

The afternoon melted away, and it was only when Namjoon received a call that they realized how much time had passed. Reluctantly, they said their goodbyes and parted ways, but not without exchanging numbers. That day, something had bloomed inside their hearts, a feeling neither of them could ignore.

As Namjoon walked away, he couldn't help but smile, thinking about Y/N. Similarly, Y/N felt a warmth inside her heart, a sense of joy that stayed with her for the rest of the day. They had come to the bookstore to escape the busyness of the world, but they had found something far more precious.

It was quite literally love at first sight. From the moment their eyes had locked, something had shifted within them. They both felt an undeniable connection and they couldn't stop thinking about each other. That cozy afternoon had turned into a magical encounter, leaving them both with hearts full of hope and anticipation for what the future might hold because they had found more than just peace in that small bookstore; they had found the beginning of a beautiful love story.
