Star gazing | Min Yoongi

You are a big nature lover, and whenever you get a chance out of your hectic life, you seize the opportunity to spend time in nature, especially by camping and star gazing. Tonight, the urge to connect with the cosmos felt particularly strong. Thankfully, you got off work early, giving you the perfect chance to explore a new spot you had heard about, renowned for its vivid and beautiful night skies. The place, far from your home with your boyfriend Yoongi, promised an unobstructed view of the stars, with a sky devoid of clouds and free from the disturbances of air pollution. This also meant a long, late-night drive-something Yoongi really cherished, especially after a long day at work.

Without wasting any time, you rushed home after work. Once there, you quickly freshened up and prepared dinner, knowing Yoongi would be home soon. Fortunately, he didn't have to stay late today. When Yoongi walked through the door, you greeted him with a smile, urging him to freshen up while you set the table. As you both sat down to eat, the conversation flowed effortlessly, a comforting exchange of your day's events. When you mentioned your idea of going stargazing, his eyes lit up with excitement. "I was going to suggest something similar," he said, his face breaking into a wide grin. "It's been too long since we had one of our late-night adventures." His response brought a huge smile to your face and your heart swelled with happiness, and you wrapped your arms around him in a tight hug. He chuckled at your excitement and kissed your forehead. "You get ready, and I'll handle the dishes," he said.

Once the chores were done, you both got dressed and headed out for a long drive, stopping briefly to buy some beverages. The slow songs playing in the car created a serene atmosphere, perfectly matching the tranquil mood. This was the playlist you both had curated together for nights like this. The drive, filled with gentle conversations and soothing music created a cocoon of tranquility around you and it felt magical.

After about an hour and a half, you arrived at your destination. The place was breathtaking, beyond what you had imagined. Situated on a hill, it was surrounded by lush trees, overlooking a city that now looked small and glittering with lights. A small pond nearby reflecting the moon's gentle glow, added to the beauty.

You parked your car besides the pond and took out a blanket. Yoongi laid the blanket on the ground, and once everything was set, you both lay down. Your head resting on his arm, admiring the stars and the world around you faded away. The night was filled with the whispers of the nature like the rustling of leaves and the occasional call of a night bird. It was perfect.

After some time of comfortable silence, Yoongi asked, "Y/N, are you awake, or did you fall asleep?" He knew you had a very busy day at work and wanted to check on you. You turned your head slightly, your voice barely above a whisper. "I'm still awake, Yoon. Just savoring the moment and admiring the stars." He smiled, understanding the peace you found in these moments.

Silence enveloped you again as you snuggled closer into him. He gently caressed your back while you traced patterns on his chest with your fingers. You asked softly, "Yoongi, do you know why I like to star gaze like this?" He hummed and asked, "Why?" Although he knew the answer, having been together for three years, but he loved hearing you express it.

You replied, "Because it makes me realize how beautiful nature is, especially the stars. People always praise the moon and talk about it, but only a few value the stars. So what if there are many stars in the sky? Each one has its own beauty and a story, which not everyone can see or appreciate. In a way, we are like stars. Not everyone can see us for who we are or appreciate us, but that's okay because those who do are far more important and precious than those who don't. And after all, you can't expect everyone to like everyone; it's not humanly possible."

Yoongi listened intently, his heart swelling with love for you and hummed in agreement, "That's true babe, especially with such philosophical reasoning." You chuckled, and he added playfully, "But you know babe, that stars are not really those shiny things we see. They're just massive spheres made of gas in space." You playfully hit him on the chest, saying, "Way to ruin the moment, Yoon." He laughed and pulled you closer, whispering, "Just kidding, babe. I really appreciate our time together. It makes me realize how lucky I am to have someone so precious like you in my life, someone who is not only kind but also considerate, who knows how to appreciate every little thing."

Your eyes filled with tears of happiness as your replied, "I'm lucky to have you too, Yoon. I love spending time like this with you. Thank you for always being there for me and loving me for who I am." He cupped your face gently and said, "You don't have to thank me for that. You deserve all the good things in life, and I'll keep showing you how much you mean to me forever."

Hearing this, you leaned up and kissed him on his cute little button nose. "I love you soooo much, Yoon!" you said, your voice thick with emotion. "I love you so much more, babe,"he whispered before pulling you into a tender kiss, full of love and promise. When you finally broke apart, you rested your foreheads together, breathing in sync.

You lay back down, wrapped in each other's arms, and continued to gaze at the stars. The night felt infinite, a beautiful, unforgettable experience that you would cherish forever. Yoongi had a way of making every moment special, and as you watched the stars together, you felt truly blessed to have him in your life.
