I wake up to my alarm, and groan loudly as I roll over onto my back. I grab my phone and turn the alarm off, putting my phone back on my bedside table as I sit up. I rub the sleep out of my eyes and shuffle to the bathroom, groaning at the blinding light. I splash my face with cold water, and sigh softly as it hits my face. I gently dry my face off with a hand towel, and shuffle out of my room. I yawn and stretch as I make my way to the kitchen, stopping when I see James attempting to cook breakfast. I laugh softly as I make my way to him, and he turns to me with a smile. "Want help?" I tilt my head to the side and he nods softly, moving over to give me room to help.

"Have you gotten a chance to put your flags up yet?" James nudges me gently with his elbow, smiling softly. I shake my head "Not yet no, I can't find my push pins." He hums "Do you want my help? I have some." I smile softly "That'd be nice, I'd really appreciate the help." He nods softly, and his smile widens. "Oh! Could you help me put my posters and drawings up too? I have too many, and I ran out of tape too." I laugh softly, carefully flipping a pancake. "Yeah of course, whatever I can do to help." I grab some seasonings from the cabinet, and sprinkle them over the eggs as James scrambles them. "I forgot to ask, how was the recording with Will?"

I place two pancakes on a plate, and James puts some eggs on the plate as well. "It was alright, probably one of the better ones we've done." I prepare another plate with James' help, before adding bacon to both. "What'd you guys do?" I turn to James "You'll find out when he uploads it." He smiles over at me, taking his plate before heading to the living room. I laugh softly, before following him. "What do you still have to unpack?" James asks, turning to me as we sit down together. "I think just my posters and drawings, my flags, and some clothes?" James hums "That's not so bad." He pauses "Wait. So, you unpacked almost everything in like a day?" I shrug "Yeah? And I took the two days you were away to get used to the house."

"Wow, that's actually kind of impressive. Good job, I'm proud of you." James smiles brightly, ruffling my hair gently. "Ew." James laughs at my response, and I laugh softly as he nudges me. "As soon as we're done eating, I can help you finish unpacking." I nod softly "Sounds good! What do you want to do after?" James hums "We could go out? I haven't been able to bring you to my favorite coffee shop yet, and I'd love to." He smiles brightly, and I return the smile "That could be fun! You want to get lunch while we're at it?" He nods "Yeah, that sounds nice." I feel the excitement building up, and I smile softly as I stare down at my food.

I place my earbuds in my ears as I take my seat on the tram, attempting to drown out the overwhelming noise around me with some music. James sits down in the seat beside me resting his hands in his lap, and I hand him the other earbud so he can listen with me. "What are you listening to?" He asks as he leans over my shoulder, peering down at my phone. I scroll through my playlist, humming softly. "You listen to a lot of my music." He leans on me slightly, laughing softly, and I nudge him playfully as I press play on my favorite song of his 'White Noise'.

I turn my attention out the window as I watch the scenery pass by, and James nudges me gently to get my attention again. "Do you want to stay at the coffee shop for lunch, or do you want to try somewhere else?" I hum softly as I turn my attention back to him "You know I'm terrible at making decisions." James nods and I laugh softly "That's true. Well let's just play it by ear then, yeah?" I smile softly and nod "Sure, that sounds good." I turn my attention back out the window, and James leans his head on mine making me smile. I hum softly to the music, fidgeting with my sleeves to keep me distracted from my surroundings.

We get to our stop and James tugs on my sleeve to get my attention, taking my hand as we step off the tram together. He let's go of my hand, and places his hand on my lower back guiding me with him as he walks. "The coffee shop is close by." I smile softly as I follow James, watching him closely. He opens the door for me as I step in, before taking his place back by my side. He sighs softly, placing his hands in his pockets as he turns his attention to me. "We could stay here, or I do know a really nice spot for lunch if you want to try that instead?" He pauses, smiling softly. "We could also go back home and make lunch, if you want to. I think that could be fun." He shrugs, turning his attention back to the baristas to order for us both.

"We could cook together again, like we did this morning. I think that would be nice." I smile softly, fidgeting with my hands. "What do you want to cook?" James turns his attention back to me. "Oh! It's not quite lunch food, but I want to make egg and cheese sandwiches." I smile up at him, watching him as he watches the baristas. The barista hands James our drinks finally, and James presses my iced coffee to my nose laughing softly. I take it from him with a huge smile, and nudge him playfully. We exit the shop together, and James gently ruffles my hair. "You've got such soft hair, what's your secret?" I hum softly and shrug "Genetics." He laughs softly, and I nudge him softly and scoff playfully.

We make our way back to the tram, and James pulls me closer to his side. He knows I don't do well with crowds, and when he's with me he tries his best to help me through it. I watch the other tram pass, and watch all the people as they get on and off. James gently nudges me to get my attention as our tram arrives, and he takes my hand as we step on together. We sit down together, and James keeps his hand in mine for comfort. He gently drags his thumb over mine, humming a tune softly. I lean on him and sigh softly, focusing on listening to him.

"Are you going to put out another album soon?" I look up at him, still resting my head on his shoulder, and he shrugs. "Maybe." He smirks and laughs softly, and I nudge him playfully. "Arse." He laughs again, squeezing my hand gently. "I plan on it, yeah. Just takes a lot of time and work, yknow?" He looks down at me, and I nod. "Yeah, I get that. I just really like your music." I smile sheepishly, and turn my attention to my hand in his. "I know, and I really, really appreciate your support. It means the world to me, really." He squeezes my hand again, and continues to drag his thumb over mine. "You're my best mate, y/n." I smile softly "I know, and you're mine. And you'll continue to be even after death, you don't have a choice in that." We both laugh, and he nudges me softly "Stuck together, like glue." I scoff playfully "Cornball."
