Recess was usually fun for many kids. Even to many adults who would kill to play on the same playground they ventured on when they were kids. Recess was a time to get all the energy out of the kids and allowed them to play with their friends who might've been in different classes. Their creativity would run wild as they were and innocent screams and cries of laughter and joy would fill the park. But for one, or two, individuals, they were the few who would rather spend their recess sitting on the benches or under the trees that provided shade.
Error was a quiet kid, at least in public. He seemed to already show signs of anxiety and it didn't seem to be stopping anytime soon. At home he was definitely trifling with familial issues as his older brother was struggling with a difficult disease, affecting his family and Error who was worried sick about his brother.
The other kid who usually stook to himself just so happened to be Error's younger brother. Yes he was the middle child, it did affect how much his mother paid attention to him. Fresh was only 15 months younger than Error and the two were surprisingly close despite their differences. Fresh couldn't really feel things, or at least he didn't outwardly show that he could relate to people. He was very honest and factual, so much so that many kids didn't like him, but he was really smart. So the few people that knew him, knew of his smarts. Still, he went to therapy, more specifically a psychologist because their mother was also concerned about his lack of a reaction with anything.
Despite a year difference, both brothers were in the same grade, just in different classes. Error didn't like his brother for his lack of emotions, so he usually sat by himself while Fresh was more social than he was. Even if he was less liked by other students.
Error also wasn't a big fan of crowds, he didn't like others touching him, really only allowing his family to touch him. As long as they tell him beforehand. This aversion to touch only increased whenever he was feeling any strong emotions. Anger, fear, sadness, any and all emotions would send him into an episode where his pixlexia would overcome his body and he would pass out of "crash".
It always hurt. And it was always undermined by his mother.
He held no grudge over his mother. She had to deal with both his brothers, his problems weren't as severe as Geno's and he wasn't as broken as Fresh was. So they both needed the attention of his mother more than he did. He was quiet and he could do things by himself. He was fine being left alone.
Under his tree he gathered fallen berries and sometimes brought out his note book to doodle. He wasn't a very imaginative kid but it gave him something else to do. He looked at the other kids running around and saw their clothes, most were with characters or colors that did not match and Error couldn't help but just start judging. And drawing.
Clothes were drawn alongside solved math equations and they were just circles and squares wearing clothes that were poorly colored and shaded in with Error's 7-ink pen he brought along.
He drew one, and one turned to three, then three turned to an entire page, then another page and then
"Hey" A kid, a young girl in a pink shirt with black leggings and a black Barbie shirt with white and pink tennis shoes, came up to him. He didn't start the conversation, nor say anything back, but his attention seemed to be enough. "Derrick wants to vers you in Basketball"
Error looked towards the basketball court and saw an elf boy looking smug. His grayish purple tail swished around with pride in his plaid overshirt with a gray shirt underneath and jorts with nice shoes that clearly showed his parents' wealth. Error looked back at the girl and then to the park where he hoped he could see Fresh anywhere for some assistance. Fresh was nowhere to be found so he was doomed to interact with someone.
