For classes not provided by the school, students could still take classes at other schools. They took shuttles or their own cars to said school and treated it like an average class. Only difference was that they may be late. For every class... But that was usually excused. And mostly the shuttle's fault.
Error was waiting for his shuttle, having to leave early if he wanted to make the cut. Or at least so he didn't miss his shuttle. The school advised him to get there early as their school was running on a different schedule and last year a lot of students missed their first academy class. In order to avoid that, the Academy meeting they had on the first day of school informed traveling students of this conflict in schedule and allowed them to leave their classes close to the bell in order to not miss their first day.
The Shuttle to Error's Astronomy class was at another High school that had the astronomy course. one that Error was looking forward to attending because he was a fanatic about space and the stars. The school was for higher level students, like above average students who plan or could work for famous companies and jobs like NASA. The school was heavily funded and extremely rich, in order to get in you'd have to take an entrance exam before you became a freshman.
Error himself was thinking about majoring in astrophysics and beginning to produce his clothing designs. Ink seemed to enjoy them, as well as Swap and his brothers. So, maybe he had something good going for him. Maybe he could start now, he really should've started in the summer. Could've given him something to do.
"LAST CALL FOR CALDERSTONE HIGH SCHOOL!!" was the callout that got him out of his mind and looking at the bus that had since come in the last few minutes. He hurried outside and onto the bus, quite literally the last one who was clearly not paying attention. He felt his skull heat up in embarrassment as the bus lunged forward and on its way to Calderstone High school.
–@ Calderstone –
Calderstone High school was larger than his own despite both schools having two floors. This school specialized in science and technology, depending and requiring its students to be independent and change or improve the world around them. The students could be thought of as stuck up and entitled because of their smarts and privilege to even attend this school and Error thought they could be just a bit humbled because they were good in not only academics, but also in their athletics. And they were good. Like, scholarship, Division 2 kinda good. A few good eggs were dotted about the school as all the kids seemed to just be that; kids.
Their building was in the science half of the school and was a short walk away from where the shuttle left them. There were a few staff that helped the Cardinal students find their way to their academy classes and Error soon found himself in the astronomical room.
The class itself was lit via a domed glass skylight while the seats were set up in a lecture-like way, ascending as the seat-like benches as you moved further back. A projector sat at the near front of the room where the teacher's desk sat and the teacher himself stood, leaning against said desk.
"Good morning, each desk has a nametag on it. Find your name and sit down, We'll start in 5 minutes" Error looked across the near full desks and searched for his name, he found his name under Error Queen and surprisingly he was close to Nightmare. Like, right next to him.
"Oh. Hey Nightmare" He greeted as he sat down. The name tag was a sort of ID card attached to a lanyard with his name, grade and ID number. It had his photo on the school database which was from last year.
"Hello" Nightmare spared him a glance as he was reading his book. His ID tag was already around his neck and had the same information as Error's.
"I didn't know you took this course"
