POV Ash
"ASH! ASH!" Ash awoke to their mother screaming at them, "mom?" They called, suddenly Amy their mother rushed into the room "sweetheart, the nights, their here, take cover! Stay safe!" She caressed Ash's hair hugging them tightly. They got up from their bed rushing quickly outside to hide from the house and the Night Operatives. "[Identity] Ash! What are you doing out here?" An operative called to them, "operative Radiant_Day?" They called peering up hoping not to get shot, "that's me, you're suppose to be in hiding what are you thinking?" He grabbed their hand, "I'm trying, I dunno where my parents went.." Ash cried. "Oh dear.. that cannot be radiant can it?" He sighed shooting at a [Nights] Monster, "no.. i should look for them, my mother told me to hide but I haven't seen them since" Just then ash heard a blood curtailing scream to her right, she snapped her head back to see her mother getting shot in the head by a Night's operative, "MOTHER!" Ash screamed battling at Radiant's hand to get down to her dead mother, "[Identity] Ash, I cannot let you go it is not safe for a child out there." He placed them in a ally way "hide." He ordered "I will.." Ash sighed as they dug around in the trash, footsteps behind them made Ash stop to peer behind themselves, a dark operative stood his gun pointed at Ash, he chuckled pulling the trigger. 'This is the end. I guess I'll be with my mother now. But I don't want to die.' Hundreds of thoughts came rushing through Ash's head at once. They turned to the side to dodge the bullet although it let it hit their eyes, Ash screamed at the unbearable pain rushing through her head, nothing... she couldn't hear, see, or feel anything but pain, although she heard one thing the cry of the Operative that shot her before they died.

Ash awoke in a hospital bed with Radiant sitting beside them "are you alright?" He asked, "I'm fine.." they chuckled, Ash opened their eyes to see.. nothing, 'wait.. why can't I open my eyes? Or.. no.. am I blind?' "Wait! WHAT HAPPENED TO MY EYES!?" They cried sitting up, "you'll be alright, he bullet skinned them you won't be able to see for about another week but.. you're eyes will bleed continuously for the rest of you're life, without pain, but they'll bleed. This is why you must wear this." Radiant sighed, that was the first time Ash heard Radiant sigh he was always happy and.. Radiant, Ash had known Radiant as a friend for a very long time, he is Ash's godfather making him also their father now, unless their father somehow survived. Their father, Chad had told Ash all about how Radiant and Chad met in school. Chad had even known Radiant when he applied to become a operative. Ash wasn't born until way after Radiant was a operative but he still was a fatherly figure to them. "Oh... s-so I'm not blind?" Ash stuttered "no" Radiant's voice was harsh and plain as if she had done something wrong. "Are you okay?" She asked slightly worried "yep! Radiant as always!" He smiled, which Ash couldn't see but was pretty sure he did...
