Chapter 2

Present time:

She didn't want to look crazy staring at him like that so she decided to turn away and leave. She knew he would not come after her. He never did but it was different this time. He followed you and hugged you back. It would be a lie if you said you didn't like it. You've always liked him but never reciprocated the actions. You both could hear each other's hearts racing and you turned around and....fell into his arms.

5 years ago:

"Everyone get back to your seats".Your homeroom teacher Miss Choi said. 

"Where are Heeseung and the Kang trio?"Mina, you're seatmate asked.

"How would I know? Hopefully they're not in trouble." You said.

"Class President and Vice President please go look for the others." Miss Choi said bothered that the kids were still out.

"Yes miss".You and Do-hyun said.

Lee Do-Hyun was the class president. You two were academic rivals but best friends. He has known you since kindergarten. Some people say he likes you but he doesn't right?

You both made your way and went separately to look for them.You entered the basketball court and saw Da-beom lying on the floor unconscious, his lips covered in blood and the Kang trio smirking as they sat on the steps near him.

The Kang trio consisted of Kevin(the main bully), Josh, and Jamie(the bully couple). They were the worst people you've ever met. They had been suspended multiple times for a lot of stuff but still didn't return to their senses.Honestly, they pissed you off but you kept calm just because you didn't wanna cause a scene.

"What is this?" You asked.

"You have glasses nerd. Can't you see?".Jamie said

You wanted to punch the hell out of her but you stopped yourself.

"You want to be kicked out again like you were when you were caught when you cheated on Josh with Jieung in the staff washroom?" You said.

She got defensive and tried to slap you but slipped. Even her friends laughed.

"Surprising how you talk so much but can't do shit," you said again.

She looked annoyed and got up.

"Get back to the class all of you. I'll take Da bom to the nurse's office."

"Oh and tell me why we should listen to you," Kevin asked.

"Cuz she is the vice president of the class. Don't ask dumb questions Kevin it doesn't suit you."Heeseung said as he and Do Hyun walked through the door.

"You have no fear these days Lee. Might be harmful for you."Josh said.

And they walked out of the basketball court.

"Let's take him to the nurse's office".You said and the boys nodded in agreement.

You returned to class, went over to your best friend Lee Ji-Eun (IU), and complained.

"Why are they forcing us to attend the dance? I don't wanna come."

"It's to get us a boyfriend".Ji Eun said jokingly.

"Well, I don't need one."You replied.

That was true you didn't need a boyfriend cuz you were in love with studying but now you wished you had one. You wished someone was there to care for you after you worked hard at the hospital but there was not one. It was like a void you couldn't fill.
