You woke in a hospital bed but it seemed familiar. Wait....it was the hospital you worked at. Confused you got up from the bed and looked around.
Your colleague Nurse Shin-Hye approached you and asked, "Are you feeling better now?".
"I am, thanks. But what am I doing here."You said.
"You passed out and were dropped here by a random handsome-looking dude. Quiet charming tbh.... do you know who him?".
"I don't think so."You lied hesitantly.
"He really seemed to care about you."She teased.
"Literally wth Shin-Hye???" You added.
"Just kidding. Rest well." with this she left.
He seemed to care about me. Huh...pure bs.
Flashback:
"Ok guy's listen up. Our class is incharge of the decorations for the dance."
"What ??"
"WHY US?"
"This is UNFAIR."
Your classmates said.
"We tried to talk to the teachers but they made up their minds i think."Do-hyun tried to explain.
"So we have to discuss the budget with the teachers and divide the work amongst ourselves."You said.
"Anyone interested in becoming the manager of the dance?"Do-hyun asked.
Pin-drop silence.....
Minnie spoke up, "You guys should do it ".
Haerim added, "I agree you guys are the best at managing events".
Both of us sighed.
"We'll talk about this later."I thought to myself but then.....
"Why does it always have to be them?" Heeseung said out of nowhere.
We were shocked. He never did that. Speak up for anyone.
This is unusual.
"It's fine we'll do it," I said and Do-hyun just nodded.
Later that day:
"The theme of the ball is vampire romance"Miss Park announced and the whole class went crazyyyy.
"Wtf, do they think we're vampires? This is honestly goofy. What do I wear then a black robe????"Bo-ra said.
"It's my style," Hee-Soo said.
"Yeah it is totally you type, cuz look like you are half dead all the time"Mina commented.
"Shut up, "Hee-Soo replied.
"Class cut out the murmurs."Miss Park said.
"And who is volunteering to become the manager of the dance??"She added.
"It's us."You and Do-hyun said.
"Alright see you after school to discuss the budget."She said and left the class after telling us that we should behave in the class and not goof around with teachers.

Present time:
You went back to working at the hospital when you felt better. You were supposed to be in an 8-hour surgery which was not that hard but today it felt draining for some reason.
Shin-Hye's words were in your mind, "He seemed to really care for you."
You tried to keep him out of your life for all these years. You hated him all your life and now that he's back you feel "safe"? Get a grip Y/n.You tried to reason with yourself but there was no answer so you decided to let it go for now.
You reminded yourself why you believed he was "the scum of the earth" but his words from years ago kept replaying in your mind.
