Meanwhile at the Republic Navy staging area
Speaker: "All members of the 216th Airborne, you are awaited at docking port 15C! "
"That's us, we better get going" said CT-1158 or Stinger
"Alright, I'll get my gear" replied CT-1154 or Giant
"Wait, where is General Windu and Skywalker?" -Stinger
"Probably on bored, where else?" -Giant
"He won't be joining us on this one boys" -said Hammer
"Sir!"-replied both of them
"At ease" Hammer said in a laughing manner "The Jedi that should replace them hasn't arrived yet"
"Should I inform the Admiral?" -Giant
"I'll take care of that, in the meantime split your platoons, once we arrive in the Talus system, Stinger will join the recon party and Giant will stay with me on the flagship."
"Sir, with all do respect, Me and Giant are pod brothers and we should be fighting together, we have good chemistry on the field." -Stinger
"Alright, I am okay with that. I will send a different platoon instead. You two head to the Jedi council and find the General." -Hammer
Stinger and Giant arrive and check the General quarters at the Jedi Temple
*Giant knocks on the door and it slides open*
"Uhhh General, are you here?" -Giant
*Lights turn on*
"And you may be?"
"I am Sergeant Stinger and this is Corporal Giant"
"I am Crixus Vandorn, why exactly are you here?"
"The fleet to Talus is waiting for you at the docking port, sir" replied Stinger.
"Ah! I wasn't aware we were departing so early in the day, tell Admiral Helix to await me in orbit!"
"Yes sir, I will meet you on the bridge"
*Stinger and Giant leave the temple and get on a speeder to the staging area*
"I will call the Admiral and tell him to fire up the engines" -Stinger
"Good idea, tell him to catch us a Wompa Rat while you're at it" said Giant while he chuckles
"This war hasn't changed you at all brother" -Stinger
*Stinger 's speeder docks with the flagship*
The engines of the two Venator-class star destroyers and the three Acclamator-class assault ships light up with a blue flare of Rhydonium fuel creating a pretty nice view. Until the alarm sounds and the launch pad hatches unlock. With a bang, the ground starts shaking, tiny debris and dust flying everywhere, once it clears up, the ships are thrusting their way up into orbit leaving a quiet atmosphere until the next launch.
