A woman working on her MacBook, with a coffee mug in her left hand. She was so engrossed in her work, and didn't realize when a girl around 26, tapped her shoulder.
"AHHH..."- Akshara shouted, turning her chair behind.
"Aru....!!"- fake anger rose in her eyes, hands on her waist.
"Yes... Sis.."- she held her puppy doe eyes, hugging her sister.
"Kya hua??.."- turning back to her MacBook, doing her not so important work.
"Akshu....!! Tera mood itna kharab kyun hain..??."- she spoke, turning her sister to face her.
"Phir se woh dream dekha kya..??"- she held her hands, squeezing her palms, giving silent comfort.
"Hmm.."- nodding her head, hanging low.
"Aaj kya dekha...?"- came a soft reply by Aarohi.
"Same... I was in a red saree, running down a dark hall that seemed never-ending. Then I heard a man's voice scream my name. I saw a blurry image of a man lying on the floor, blood spilled around him. And then everything went black. And that's when I wake up..." Tears formed in her pretty eyes, threatening to fall.
"It's alright.. Par Akshu, I think this is a sign.."- her face showed nervousness.
"What sign Aru...??"- curiosity dripped from her voice.
"This dream is related to your past life..."- Aarohi spoke, her psychiatrist's form taking over.
"Aru.. Please... I know you are studying psychology. But this is extreme.."- Akshara being herself turned back to her work.
Arohi sighed, taking her files, going back to her study.
Meanwhile, A man who was looking exhausted hopped on his couch, gaining some strength to do the next surgery which was aligned after 1 hour.
"Bhai...!!"- a sweet voice rang in the cabin, his hands holding a lunch box for his brother, containing his favorite meal.
"Ahhhh, Neil.."- he lazily got up from the couch, wearing his killer white plain shirt.
"Bhai...Do you want to kill the girls by your handsomeness?."- he said, placing the box in front of him.
"Stop it Neil..."- irritatingly said by Abhimanyu.
"Acha, Leave it.. Eat your lunch."- uttered by him, forwarding a spoon of rice in front of his mouth.
Abhimanyu accepted his meal happily, munching on it as he was really hungry after 5 hours of long surgery.
"Bhai, Tauji is calling us for Diwali..."- he announced, earning a glance of happiness from him.
"Okay We'll go..."- a scream of happiness, aroused in his mind.
Neil left after placing back the containers in the lunch box.
But suddenly a blur image came in front of his eyes, a woman in a red elegant gown smelling the fragrance of a red rose.
She hummed a song "Lag Ja Gale" which was really popular in the 15th century.
But a sound from his mobile brought him out of his reverie. He saw a message from his schedule planner - the surgery was postponed, and was scheduled after 15 minutes.
"This is not the right time to think about this.."- he muttered under his breath, wearing his hygienic scrubs, before leaving his cabin for the surgery.
