The news spread like wildfire through the pack, igniting a frenzy of fear and speculation.

The existence of a lycan, once thought to be confined to the pages of ancient texts and old tales had become a reality among them.

Whispers of panic threaded through every conversation, anxiety hanging thick in the air like a storm cloud about to burst.

Some pack members trembled at the mere thought of a lycan among them, their hearts filled with dread.

Others cast worried glances at each other, murmuring fears for the poor wolf destined to become the mate of such a beast.

The idea of being bound to a lycan, whose strength and ferocity were legendary, was a terrifying prospect.

Faces paled, and voices dropped to hushed tones as the uncertainty of what tomorrow would bring settled in.

The head alpha, still reeling from his encounter with the lycan, returned to the pack house.

His expression was grave, the lines on his face deepened with worry and exhaustion.

His usual commanding presence seemed almost weighed down by an invisible burden.

As he entered, his general, a seasoned beta warrior named Kim Seokjin, immediately approached him, sensing the tension radiating from the alpha's aura.

"Gather the pack members," the head alpha commanded, his voice rough with the fatigue of worry.

"We need to prepare. Tomorrow, the lycan will come to take his mate. I don't know who it is, but everyone must be ready. Also, put high security around Tae's room. I don't want any threat near him. Tell the female beta worker to ready moonflower perfume."

Seokjin nodded, his jaw set in a grim line.

He quickly set about spreading the word, his authoritative voice cutting through the growing panic like a blade.

The pack house buzzed with frantic energy as wolves hurried to comply, the tension climbing with each passing second.

When the pack members gathered, the head alpha stood before them, his gaze sharp and unyielding, though the weight of his words was clear in his tone.

"Tomorrow, a lycan will come to claim his mate from our pack," he announced, his voice resonating through the room.

"We do not know who among you is his mate, but we must be ready. Mated wolves don't need to come, but all unmated ones should be gathered near the pack house tomorrow."

A ripple of fear swept through the crowd. The pack members exchanged anxious glances, their faces etched with a mixture of dread and disbelief.

Whispers spread like wildfire once more, each wolf trying to make sense of this looming threat.

A lycan was not just any threat, it was a force of nature, uncontrollable and vicious.

To be his mate would be a fate both unimaginable and pitiable.

"What if it's me?" one omega murmured, her voice trembling with fear.

"What if I'm the one he claims?"

Another wolf, a young beta, shivered.

"I heard lycans don't just take, they consume. What if he... hurts whoever it is?"

"He will," another chimed in darkly.

"Whoever his mate is, they'll have no choice. Imagine being tied to that kind of beast... forever."
