Part 3

At Yusisi Cafe.......

General POV

Keta and Reene agreed to have their meet up in a cafe at 3pm.

It's 2:45. Keta is already at the cafe. He is patiently waiting for Reene to arrive. He's been looking at his phone hoping to get an update from Reene but there is none.

On the other hand, Oscar and Reene are still on their way. While on the road, Reene keeps giving a death glare on Oscar who is driving. They had a fight at their home before driving off to the cafe.

Flashback.......

1:50pm. Reene is done and was ready to go. When she check on Oscar, she was shock to see him not prepared yet. Not even taken a bath. Reene got annoyed at Oscar because it's seems like he is not really taking their meet up with Keta seriously.

"Geeez! Oscar?! What are you doing?" Reene asked.

"I'm resting." Oscar replied uncorncerned.

"Resting? You know that we're going to meet Keta, right?"

"Oh. Yeah. Yeah I will just gonna take a bath then." He said casually before standing up from the sofa.

"Just now!?"Reene exclaimed in disbelief.

"Relax. I'll be done shortly." He replied.

Reene is getting pissed with Oscar. It seems like he's doing it on purpose.

"You know what, Oscar? If you're not really into this, you can stay. I'll go by myself." Reene said while grabbing her purse on the sofa.

Oscar's ears perked when he heard what Reene had just said. He looked at her direction making her stop.

"No! You are not going alone. You're not leaving without me. Wait for me here, I'll be quick." He replied in a serious tone.

"Arggh! You're unbelievable! You're in the Philippines! Traffic jam is everywhere and you know that! You're being irresponsible!" Reene said in frustration.

"How am I suppose to get going if you won't stop talking?! Besides, if Keta wants to meet you, he will wait! Just text him that we're going to be a little late!" Oscar replied almost shouting before marching to the bathroom.

Reene just rolled her eyes and took her phone to send a message to Keta.

End of Flashback.........

Keta's POV

I was chilling here at the cafe while waiting for Reene. I'm just wandering my eyes through this establishment. Reene said that this is her go to place whenever she wants to unwind and relax herself so she decided that we meet here. Reene has a great taste. I like the ambiance and exterior of this place, plus the staffs are very friendly and accommodating.

It's almost 3pm and I still can't see Reene coming. She said that she's with her boyfriend but I don't see them arriving soon. She doesn't even sending me an update.

I was just about to get my phone to send her a text message when a notification from my phone screen pops up. It was a text message from Reene saying that they will be a little late because of the traffic. Yeah, the traffic. It's a very common thing here in the Philippines.

I was relief when I received an update from Reene. Atleast, its an indication that she will come and will not ditch me. I badly wanna see her again. I missed her so bad.

I haven't told Reene, but I developed feelings for her since when we were in highschool. At first, I thought it was just an infatuation because of the admiration I have for her. She's always this kind, graceful, smart, and talented person. Plus the fact that we were very close before made sense to it. When my family decided to move to Holland, I was sad, and so was she. We spent our remaining days together bonding and going out. We cried on each others shoulder when it was my time to leave.
