Lamar was sick of being questioned. The cops had been relentless on him, trying to force a confession out of him, they were keeping the pressure on by keeping him up, making him tired so he would just give in. They kept on repeating that the gun had his prints on them and he must have pulled the trigger. He refused that because he didn't pick up the gun at all.
"You found it under the passenger side of the car... I was fucking driving!.. so tell me how you found my prints on it!." He said, exhausted.

"You're going to need to calm your attitude Lamar...

"Let me see this god damn ballistics report cos you know full well that I did not touch that gun... what is Jago saying about this?.."

"Don't mind him.... He is helping us with our enquiries....

"What the fuck do you mean helping you with yo enquiries?

"What the fuck do you mean helping you with yo enquiries?... this some bullshit..." Lamar said shaking his head. Punching the table, is anger and tiredness winning out. It was as if no one was listening to him or even wanted to.

Jago was about to get out of his car at the trap. As soon as he put one foot out of the door Josh grabbed it and slammed the door into his leg.
"Aghh!.. man what the fuck!..."

"Why the fuck have the gun in the car mother fucker

"Why the fuck have the gun in the car mother fucker... why wasn't that gun dead and buried with the twins!..." Josh snapped.

"Gee told me to keep it... but I was supposed to ditch it that day and get the barrel and any evidence scraped... but I got into it with Lamar before I got the chance and we got pulled... it was just fucking coincidence man...

"Then why do they think the gun is his?...."

"Josh, I'm not an idiot I told them the gun was mine... they weren't listening!.. it was literally like they now had what they had been waiting for, a Fraser... and a weapon used in a murder... they weren't the slightest bit interested in me or what I had to say..." he said with honesty.

"Was the chief around?." Josh asked.

"Something has happened to the chief... he was nowhere to be seen, wasn't prepared to help and they were dogging on him, talking about him derogatory..." he told them. "No one has seen the chief in a while." He added.
