"IS it me or did Jason get muscular and hot". Simona says, looking over my shoulder. I turn to look behind me and true to her words though, Jason did look different.
"Hmm,your right." I comment,and turn to look back at cara and wiggle my eyebrows playing at her,she avoid eye contact with me. She kind of had a thing for Jason. Had,been past tense,to her she says it was just a stupid one time thing crush.Nothing more. "The summer did him good,don't you think so cara".
"Why you asking me,you just confirmed it". She feigns less concern like she isn't interested about Jason. I know she still is,so does simona. We are practically sisters,we know ourselves like an open book.i have known simona and cara ever since the first day of senior high,I really did not put too much expectations about getting any friends and prefer to stay on my own to avoid fake friends.
But luckily for me,it didn't take me long to become friends with simona and cara,well,to be fair they were the once who came up to me first and they looked so close to each other like they have literally known themselves since forever.
Childhood friends,our moms kind of go long way back. Simona told me when I asked how her and cara friendship came about. I thought been friends with them would make me feel like a third wheel,how shocked I was that that was the last thing I would ever get from both of them.
"Oh come on," simona nudges cara arm. "Like you aren't dying hard just to steal a glance at him,my lips are locked I won't tell anyone I promise ".
Cara squints and points a fry at simona. "I will have you know you are just busy wasting your time and you should focus on eating your food instead of talking gibberish". With that she bite off a bit of her fry.
Simona rolls her eyes . "Puh-lease,like your aren't still interested in him".
"Nope,over it a long time ago,"
"Three month ago you said you were over him because you heard a rumor that he was into guys,but then three weeks later at Ari house you also said told me and Ari here you haven't gotten over your girlish crush on Jason,and then also three days later you were so ecstatic to give me and Ari here," she points at me with a smile on her face, she enjoys teasing cara and it pretty enjoyable. "A news about Jason being attracted to a guy was just simply a rumor, because a girl by the name Nancy got rejected by him and she decided to get back at him by spreading a rumor about him attracted to guys only and that probably why no one has seen him with a girl get. But that same day,you later felt down and thought you have lost your chance about making a move at him."
Cara stares at her open mouthed,and then look at me. I shrug. "Well,it kinda true"
"It is true," simona says.
"Well,I didn't know you kept a documentary about my life history.impressive" cara comment dryly.
"I know right,that why I'm one of the top A students Kingston high have." Simona says with pride and flick her hair off her shoulder.
