"Tell me mom"

Elle's first question to her mother after she reached her home, she had a hunch that her mom is hiding something from her and she's not going to leave until she tells her.

"You're not our child"

The next words of her mother would be this, she could've never guessed it.

Elle looked at her mom with her eyes widened.

Her mom cups her face with her hands on her cheeks and tears in her eyes.

"You were never ours but when I found you I said only one thing, you're ours" she looked at her husband and then back to Elle with her teary eyes.

Elle's tears started to slide down her cheeks. She could never think that the parents she lived her long life with aren't her real parents, she has never ever felt out of this little family frame.

She has always lived with her parents like how a child lives. Happy, sad, mad, beautiful all kind of moments, she has grown older with them.

She doesn't have the knowledge of the whole world but she always knew one thing, if no one in this World would be on her side, her parents will, coz they're the real ones.

But they're not.

It's sinking into her slowly.

Elle looks so surprised and couldn't express or say anything in words so she cried and cried while she hugs the woman she has always called her mom.

The woman caressed her back and tried to calm her down. Her father sitting far from them walked to her and sat on the other side of Elle on the couch. This time she hugs the man whom she has always called her father.

The man hugs her back tightly coz they might not be her biological parents but they have had always thought of her as their own child and gave her all the love of the World they could.

Elle cried on her father's chest and her mother caressed her hair while sitting behind her.

She knows why Elle is here. She has already felt something strange and spotted someone who is not actually from their world or maybe he is, she doesn't know, all she know is Elle met the person she shouldn't have all her life.

So without wasting anymore time her mom started speaking.

"Elle, I know you've already met him"

Elle parted from her father and turned her face to look at her mother with a surprised look.

Elle totally knew who her mom is talking about.

"How do you know?" Elle asked as she has never told anyone about meeting the Vamp boy except her friend.

"Have you ever realised you're not like other humans?" Her mother caresses her head and Elle for the first time thought about this question the way she should've thought a long time ago.

"Like? What am I? Am I not human? Mom?" Elle got a little shock and got scared of whatever her mom is going to reveal.

"No, Elle you're a human" she cups her face and tells her making Elle breathe out in relief.

"As well as a Vampire" she looked at her mom with her eyes wide open totally in shock.

"Are you-"

"Yes my baby, you're the second half human-half Vampire baby in the World"
