Episode 6: Breaking Ranks/ Episode 7: Out of Darkness

I wasn't listening as I stood in an imperial base and watched my brother train to be a stormtrooper. The stormtrooper armor was really uncomfortable.

"See ya at the top!" I hear Ezra yell yell down to someone. I watched as my brother climbed up the hole with ease. When my brother got to the top the old slimy man I was supposed to be protecting started to say something like "good job but it's going to get harder."

We walked to down a hallway of to Maker knows were. We passed chopper up and Ezra gave him the sign.

'Ok blue boy' he said as he rolled past. The kid in front of me stoped to look back at chopper.

"Is something wrong cadet?" I questioned trying my best not to let the smile I had on my face show in my voice.

"No nothing. Sorry."

"Good then keep walking" pushing him forward. I felt bad but had to keep the act up.

Ezra went to go get the decoder as I went back to Sabine and Zeb. Just as I got to them the door closed and I knew I wasn't going to get back in again.

"Hey have you guys seen Ezra?"

"No he didn't come out Hera said to give him one more day."

The next day I went with Sabine and Zeb to get Ezra and chopper. But only chopper showed up.

"Did you get the decoder?"

'Yep'

"Ok than weres Ezra" I started to panic.

'Said he needed to stay longer' My eyes went wide but quickly relaxed. If Ezra stayed in the base it was for good reason plus he completed the mission.

"Alright I'll take the decoder to Kanan and Hera you go to Zeb and Sabine and tell them about Ezra"

'Alright'

As I walked back to the ship I pulled out the necklace that Fives gave me. I feel like I should give it to someone but who? Zeb? No I don't know him well enough same with Sabine. I don't think Kanan would know what to do with it and I know Ezra would lose it. So who does that leave?

"Chopper told us about Ezra. He also said he gave you the decoder." Hera! Well maybe I'll give it to her some other time.

"Ya I have the decoder." Putting the necklace away I grabbed the decoder out and put it in the hand she was holding out. As I was about to walk away she grabbed my arm with her other hand and pulled me on to the ship. She then pulled me in our now shared room.

"Hera what was that about?" Turning to look at her. A long with praying that I wasn't blushing too much.

"How are you feeling about Ezra staying?" While she asked me this I sat down on her bed.

"I'm scared he'll get hurt but also at the same time I trust him and I know he can take care of himself." While I was talking she sat down next to me. No more words were spoken she just grabbed my hand gave it a squeeze. I was looking down at my legs which I just realized were shaking.

"Ezra will be fine like you said," she said using her other hand to grab my face to turn and look at her, "he can take care of himself." I gave her a thankful smile. We stayed like this for maker knows how long before I had enough and lightly put my forehead on hers. Then as I closed my eyes I felt her lean her head into mine. We both let out a sigh. I felt at peace for the first time in a while.

We both pulled away to look at each other. I took one hand away from her and put my head on her shoulder. Even if she isn't gay I'm gonna take any chance I get to make it feel like we're a couple. Sadly a knock on the door broke us out of our moment.

"Come in" Hera said while I slid away drone her. Kanan walked in with a little smirk.

"If you two are done I would like to see the decoder." Hera got up to give it to him.

"You go to Hera I need a minute." She looked back at me giving me a questioning look. All I did was nod back to her and she left.

I spent the rest of the day in our room. And a lot of the next day. That was until Ezra got back. Then I went into the living room and we talked for a long time.

Ezra then went on some mission with Zeb that damaged the phantom. They said it was fixed but Hera and Sabine got stuck on some planet. So now I was flying the ghost it felt wrong. Hera should be doing the flying but here I was in the pilots chair and not the copilots. As we got them in Hera came into the cock pit. Then something jumped on the ship and I let out a small yelp. But Hera leaned over me and pushed a button that sent a shock to the creature.

"Whoa I didn't know the ghosts could do that."

"There's a lot you don't know about my ship" she said leaning in closer to me. I back away slightly and she leaned back out and walked out of the cockpit back to the others. I got us out of there and in to hyperspace.

Once we got back to lothal we all sat in the living room. Just then chopper came in.

'Some big guy with a scar is calling for y/n' everyone looked to me as I stood up.

"I'll take it and let you guys know" heading down to the cockpit I heard chopper coming after me.

'I like the looks of him. He seems fun.' When I walked in the guy seemed really happy to see me.

"Hey! Little Jedi how ya been. How longs it been?"

"Um I think about 10 years give or take maybe 11 just because of traveling"

"What?" I sighed and shook my head

"Long time. So what can I do for ya?"

"Well mega wants to see you. Said that there some lab that know one knew about on.... Tantis."

So sorry for not updating for a long time but I was busy I'm gonna get another chapter tomorrow so. Ya. Maybe two idk depends on if I want to do just a side chapter or a side chapter and an episode. We'll see.
