She was staring at the night sky, the only thing that could bring peace to her heart. Till a few months back, Rachel had been a cheerful and pleasant person. That heartbreaking incident in her life, which might seem normal to others, turned her into a cold person.

**Flashback**
There she stood in the rain, tears streaming down from her eyes. The gift box fell from her hand when she saw the love of her life kissing someone else. Her heart shattered into pieces. The only thought that came to her mind was, "Is it that easy to break a heart that loved you truly?! Is it that easy to break someone's trust?!"
Rachel and Austin had been dating for seven whole years. And guess what?! On the day of their 7th anniversary, she caught him cheating on her with his female best friend.
After they broke the kiss, Austin's eyes fell on Rachel. His eyes widened. Before he could approach her, she walked away.
She could hear Austin calling her, "Rachel, babe, listen to me! I can explain." But she didn't look back. Her heart ached. She got into the car and drove away.
**Flashback ends**

Since that day, she was totally changed. Even her best friend, Summer, could not recognize her. After Rachel's family, Summer was the only person who genuinely cared for her. Rachel either spent hours at her workplace or went up to the rooftop to stare at the night sky.

"Rachelllllll, come down, the dinner is ready," Mom yelled. I sighed and replied, "Cominggg." I went down. While we were having dinner, Dad spoke, "Uh Rachel, princess, there is something we need to talk about."
"What is it?" I replied, even though I was least interested as I knew what he was going to say. "We have arranged your marriage with-". I cut him off, "Dad, I am not interested in all these things. I even told you before that I am ready to marry any person you guys will tell me to."

Yes, for the past few weeks, my parents had been looking for a so-called RIGHT guy for me. According to them, marriage was the only way that would make me move on. I agreed as there was no reason to disagree. It's not like I am still in love with Austin. You know, it's possible to hate a person as much as you loved that person once. But it's true that I was not in the state to fall in love again after that incident. Before loving a person, you have to trust them. But after the betrayal I faced I don't think I will be able to fall in love again. Still, I agreed.

Dad said, "But Rachel, you need t-" Before he could finish, I said, "Dad, please, I don't want to talk about all these things. Okay, fine, I know what I have to do. I will just go and meet that guy."
"But princess, don't you want to know who the person is?" He asked.
"Dad, I have no int-" I was going to speak, but then Mom interrupted, "Rachel, how was your work?". "As usual," I replied.

**after a week**

Rachel was in her room doing something on her laptop. Suddenly, the door opened. Rachel's mom entered with a beautiful pastel pink dress in her hand and said, "Princess, get ready!"
"For what?" Rachel was confused.
"You are going to meet your fiancé," said her mom.
"Meet whom?" Rachel still didn't understand what was going on.
"Rachel, you already know that we have fixed your marriage with my best friend's son," Rachel's mom said. Rachel sighed and got up to get ready. She didn't want to go but had no choice. She got ready. Rachel's mom handed her the address of the café and then she went out with a dull face.
"Drive safe, princess," her mom yelled from behind.

**after about half an hour**

I entered the café and was looking for her when my eyes fell on her. It must be her. She was looking so beautiful while staring out of the window, but it felt like she was not okay. Yeah, I know, that was obvious after the incident that had happened with her. I agreed to marry just because my mom asked me to, as I didn't have time for all these dating stuffs, but she is damn gorgeous.
And then I controlled myself, "Man, you have not even met her. Go and just approach her already. She is waiting. And you are not even sure if it's her," I said to myself. I slowly walked towards the table and said, "Um, Rachel?!" She looked at me. Her pretty doe eyes caught my attention. They were so attractive. "Yes?" I heard her speak...

I didn't believe in love at first sight until I saw you.
