"A demon took their older brother away,and they're inside that manor."
Tanjiro glanced at the two kids,worry in his eyes as he stood beside Zenitsu,letting Ajian and Hinoka discuss the plan while Rimoto continued to console the kids,a gentle smile gracing her lips.
"It's okay,we'll get your older brother for you."she said in the soft tone,coddling the youngest in her arms."Tanjiro,Zenitsu."Ajian approached the two teens with Hinoka beside him,the four of them discussing their next plan of action.
"Hm?"when Zenitsu suddenly hummed,turning his gaze towards the manor;"Do you hear that?"he asked,cupping his ears."What's wrong,Zenitsu?"
"What is that sound?Feels very uncomfortable,it sounds like...a drum,?"
"Sound?I don't hear any-"
THUMP THUMP
Hinoka suddenly jumped,followed by Ajian who rushed forward.Surprising both Tanjiro and Zenitsu as they watched the duo rush towards the second floor window of the manor,a man bursting through the open window.
"Don't look,children."Rimoto immediately covered the kids with her haori,blocking them from the gruesome sight.Hinoka caught the man in her arms,aided by Ajian who helped her land on her feet with the man cradled between.
COUGH
The man coughed,spitting out blood as he laid on Hinoka's lap."Are you alright?"Ajian knelt beside the man,quicly grabbing the first aid kit he had in his sleeve,Tanjiro approaching them with haste.
"Are you okay?Are you hurt?What happened?"Tanjiro questioned,kneeling on the other side of the man whom was barely conscious;"His wound is deep,but I think I can stitch it up."Ajian mumbled,ripping the man's clothes off.
Both Ajian and Hinoka talking as they got to work,Tanjiro watching with worry as he held the man's hand in his own.
"Will he live?"
"Yes,just let me work."
"This scratches..."
"Looks like claws."
"What in the world is happening inside that manor?"
A loud growl came from the manor,the children trembling in Rimoto's hold at the terrifying sound.Zenitsu squeaking in fear as he stood by Rimoto and the kids,his knees shaking.
"Hinoka,you should go and investigate.Take Rimoto with you,she's good at detecting movements."Ajian glanced at the noirette,nodding at her with furrowed brows."What about you?"
"I'll stay here and watch over the kids as well as Mister,I'll call some Kakushis to take him to a nearby hospital."
"Alright."Hinoka took off her cloak,letting Tanjiro elevate the man's head as she stood up,using her now folded cloak as a pillow.
