Trees.

Thats all the young Carnotaurus could see as it ran as fast as its legs could. It didn't care how lost it was, anywhere was better than where it once was. In a cage, in some warehouse in the middle of nowhere. Its legs ached as it continued to run, partially from it not being able to use them for so long and partially from it running for an undetermined amount of time. After another couple of minutes sprinting, the juvenile would stop, both to regain some energy and to get a better idea of its surroundings. The young carnivore would look around, but see nothing but trees and darkness in every direction as far as its eyes could see.

Behind him, the Carnotaurus would heard chaos erupting, likely from his captors realizing what was going on. Knowing it was only a matter of time before they started to search for him, the juvenile would start running again. Soon, the young carnivore would come across a clearing in the distance. Upon reaching that clearing, the juvenile, named Ox by his captors, would be greeted by a coastline spanning as far as his eyes could see. The coast would be covered in a coat of fine, white sand, which ran along the ocean. Upon the horizon, Ox could make out the start of the sunrise, the light painting the sky a calming purple and orange.

Ox would be snapped out of his gaze of the sunrise at the sound of squawking nearby. The Carnotaurus would turn his head to see a group of about 4 or 5 birds standing along the shoreline, their white feathers making them stand out against the beautiful blue of the ocean. Ox would start to approach the birds, hoping to catch one to eat. It was upon his approach that Ox would realize:

He was free.
